Wow, I’m sorry it’s been so long since I posted. I haven’t fallen off the wagon or anything, luckily, just been very busy. My 12 month old has been sick since Thursday and I’ve spent all of my extra time cuddling with her. I’ve done well with my eating, I just haven’t had time to actually enter my stuff in WW online. I feel pretty good despite that because I feel like the points values of everything I eat are pretty much imprinted on my brain, so I’ve been able to keep a mental tally. One area I haven’t done so well in is my water intake. That’s always the first to go when I’m busy. I’m not sure why. I know I need the water and I have a Sparklett’s dispenser right there in my kitchen, but it just seems like too much trouble to refill my glass and suck it down. Hmph. That’s something I definitely need to work on.

This week will be busy with holiday preparations, baking (DOH!), school plays and potlucks, and the in-laws coming for a visit. Lots of opportunities to eat and overindulge. My promise to myself is to remain in control.

Last night I got on the Cooking Light website and bookmarked some great holiday cookie recipes. I figured if I was going to bake, I would bake healthier treats so I could enjoy a few here and there.  I’ll share some of those recipes with you this week and let you know what I think of them!
