Fitness Caddy and Giveaway!!!

January 14th, 2009 | Comments | Posted in Giveaways | by Lissa

I was recently given the opportunity to try out the Fitness Caddy: a convenient little gym tote. I loved the fact that my 32-ounce SIGG bottle fit nicely inside. Not only that, but my iPod, lip gloss, and keys all fit in as well!

While I did not carry it with me from machine to machine at the gym, it did make it easy to keep all my “stuff” in one place on the journey to and from the YMCA. I would have loved to have this on my trip to the Mall of America last month to carry my water bottle, cell phone, and wallet around.

Whether you are a gym nut or not, you can use the Fitness Caddy while you are walking, attending sporting events, or whatever your heart desires. And it is SO much cooler than the awful fanny pack. I would love to have more of these for my children -we are always hauling our water bottles with us EVERYWHERE and it can be such a pain-in-the-butt.

And, thanks to BVT products, the Sisterhood is giving you the chance to win one of your very own!! Yup, you heard me right, our very first GIVEAWAY! What do you need to do? Leave a comment here. That’s it. Tell us something interesting, something to make us laugh, cry, just don’t say “pick me”. If you want an extra entry, Twitter about the giveaway, then come back and leave a comment letting us know.

The entry period to win the Fitness Caddy will end Wednesday, January 14th at 11:59 pm Central time. The winner will be randomly selected and we will announce the lucky person on the following day! Good luck!

This is perfect! Most of my exercise clothes don't have pockets so whenever I go out I don't have a place for my keys, cell phone, or water. This is perfect for all of those things! I love this!
  • Hmmm...Do you think that this innovative new device will actually get my lazy a$$ to the gym? Doubt it, but would still like to have one. Especially for FREE!!
  • Amy
If I had this Gym caddy, I promise I would go!!! Really I would!!! Lol
  • so cute! I'd use it on walks, at school, at the Y...and I'm sure at some point I would find it in my daughter's room or backpack.
  • I am a sucker for contests!! Just wanted to share that I decided to join the gym back in November when my son told me that my butt was so big that it could talk to people. I felt like smacking him but I couldn't do anything because I was laughing so hard.

I'm hoping to lose some weight in this Valentines challenge...maybe the caddy would help me!!!
  • I want it so bad! It would be perfect for when I'm out walking. I hate when my keys are too heavy in my pocket!
  • This would be great to take to the gym. Thanks to you guys and a friend, I am actually going to the gym and working out!
  • I totally forgot about this giveaway. I think this would be great for just about any time...just to keep water handy where ever you go.
  • Oh this looks great!! This would be so helpful for the gym, my hands are already full of kids when I go. So one less thing to carry is great!!
  • I could really use this at the fitness classes that I am going to start next week. Im new to all this healthy lifestyle and this would be great!
  • This must be meant to be. Me & the Mates recently joined a 24hr (torture!) fitness center. I took the 2 elder Tribe-lings last week to work out.
Now, I just turned 34. Elder Boy is 16, Tweety (yup, that's what I call her) is 14. I did a total of 15 total actual work out minutes during our hour there.
I started calling Elder Boy Carl Lewis. He hit the treadmill like he thought it was gonna hit him back.
Tweety was beside me on the elliptical. Luv that machine. I felt pretty good doing my 70-74 strides per minute. I glance over at her and she's doing ***140-147***
    *gasp*
I won't even get into the weight machines. I just won't.
They did (and how) but me, I'm afraid of blowing my knees out (again) so I'm taking it slow.
The whole time there, I was carrying the keys, the teeny purse, and water. This lil gadget would free my hands up so I can cover my eyes when my kids are putting me to shame.
    Groovy.

  • This would make a great gift for my sister, who goes to the gym, me not so much.
  • I twittered about the giveaway.
  • I don't listen to music at the gym. Instead I watch at least 5 shows at a time. I go from The History Channel to ESPN to CNN to Judge Judy to whatever is on TV no. 5. I also like watching people...the lady with the perfectly made up face and Iron Girl t-shirt or the burly white haired guy with the smoker's cough and a bag from a tobacco shop. The gym is a great place to people watch.

This looks perfect for taking with me to walk the dog, I can hook my house key on it and leave my phone in the pocket and not be so worried about losing them.

Great site- I'm learning many new things!
  • I have an African Grey Parrot. When I get on my elliptical, she exercises too. She rocks back and forth on her perch, and when she's bored of that, she hangs upside down and rocks. When I stop, she stops. :o)

Looks like a great alternative to the fanny pack - Love this blog!
  • Lucia
This would be great to have for so many different occasion, if I could just keep my boys hands off it.

Just what I need... a gadget that will help me remember to bring my water and ipod and everything, so that I don't have to go back to my car before even getting on the treadmill!
  • That's JUST what I need. Fabulous invention. Thanks for the entry!
  • That is really a great idea...one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas...
  • Maybe if I had one of these cute little things I might enjoy drinking water more :-)
  • Cute little caddy! I'm new here...HI!
  • this would be perfect when I go walking...right now I am carrying two bottles along with me to pretend they are weights....cause I have no where else to put my bottle.

    :)

That is definitely something to go to the gym with. I hate having to go and stash my bag in a locker on days when I just want to run in and get a quick workout.
  • Ok I love it. I'm an Avon lady so I'm in the car with the kids a lot and would love to have this to tote my water, keys, etc.

Something to make you cry or laugh? Hmmmm. It's below zero where I live. That's enough to me ME cry. Oh and I discovered today that my 14 month old loves zucchini. Yeah for the healthy baby! :)

Off to tweet about it at www.twitter.com/roobug
  • Jen Tepe
That is really cool...and I've decided if I am not the big winner, I am buying one anyway!!!
  • Bah, I totally prefer to leave my G2 strategically in a far corner of the gym so that I have to make Helga the wonder trainer give me a break while I go hunt it down. And we all enjoy the great "key" hunt at the end of the hour - it's like Easter at the gym. And if I'm really clever and leave my sweatshirt, Helga will take it home and wash it for me. I don't need this, nope. Nada.
  • What a cool and nifty gizmo - I am totally giving those away for xmas next year. I love to give fitness-related gifts that are not obnoxious! And yes, I'd love to win one. ;) Off to Tweet now... (@LaraK)
  • Ok, I seriously need this! I can't tell you how often I've left my keys in the cup holder of the machine and wandered off!
  • Oh man, I just got back from the gym and could've TOTALLY used this!! What a great thing to have. Can I still say, "Pick me, Please?" ; )
  • That is such a neat gadget and a great idea. I keep my keys and stuff with me when I exercise, so it would be helpful to have one of those.
  • Oh! That's just what I need! I never shower or anything at the gym (I only have 45 minutes and I don't want to waste that time in the locker room!) so I just tote my purse with me. Every time I set it down I think about the gross germs now lurking on the bottom of my purse - which I am then going to set in my car and then on the table at home. EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Why do I want to fitness caddy? Because I'm the annoying girl on the treadmill next to you who had to bring her big ol' purse and giant sweatshirt in to fumble around with.
  • How do I Twitter?

Not only would this be a fabulous product at the gym- I think this could be a must have for anyone who cares for children. Imagine taking the kids to the park on a nice hot day.. you could carry a squirt bottle to mist them as needed, the extra bandaids for the scraped knees, your keys, possibly even a smig of sunscreen.
    Oh, the possibilities :)

  • Something interesting, huh?

Hmmm...how about this article I read this morning. Flies against all I ever thought about exercise:

Physical Activity May Not Be Key To Obesity Epidemic

  • This would be perfect. I'm always shoving my water bottle into my purse so I don't have to carry it around. With the Fitness Caddy, I can downgrade to a smaller purse. Thanks.
  • This is fantastic! I would use this at school all the time. If I don't win, I will be getting one of these for myself, and probably a couple other people I know!
  • Kelley
I could really use this at my YMCA. It is a pain in the you know what to try and not fumble your keys, YMCA card, book, phone, water bottle, etc. when you are trying to get in to the gym at 5:00 a.m.! I would love to win this cool gadget.

  • What a great product! And oh-so-cute! Maybe if I'd had one of these with me on Christmas break, I *still* wouldn't be looking for my keys (a week later). And what's sad....the key ring has my gym card on it!
  • I would love to have this for my walks and to take to the gym. I also coach a high school swim team and this would be PERFECT to bring to practice and meets. I hate bringing my whole purse and this would be so handy. Great find!
  • Jen
PERFECT for the gym! Don't you think cute gym clothes and ACCESSORIES make it just a little easier to go!
  • carogonza
This is not only great for the gym but for everyday use. I could use this for work as well. I am forever losing my keys and this would make a great key chain.
  • spbray
Would LOVE this! Also thought I would share that my 4 year old was angry at my husband for eating her Chocolate Reindeer (I did feel good being able to honestly tell her it wasn't me who ate it), but took it out on my by telling me I had a "big butt"...hopefully not for long!!!
  • Jen
    Is it FRIDAY YET???? :)

    (What a great little gadget!!)
  • I could totally use this for the gym. I always feel akward carrying around my keys and ipod and water .

    What a great find! :)
