Weigh-In Wednesday

Good morning (or afternoon) everyone!! How are you? Did you do okay this week, or are you losing steam? We’ve noticed that lots of you haven’t been weighing in and we wonder if it’s because you’re not doing so good and you just don’t want to tell. Listen, we all have bad days, weeks, heck, even months. And it’s okay. But you have to get back on track and part of staying on track is weighing in and checking in! If it’s not good, we’ll give you the support and encouragement you need to keep going, to turn it around. So come on, weigh-in and let us know where you are. Post on your blog, come back here, and leave your link. We WANT to support you!!

With that being said, we’ve decided it’s time for a little pre-Spring Cleaning here at The Sisterhood. We’re taking a blogroll-call of sorts. We want to know who’s around and who has fled the scene. We want to make sure that we are getting the support and encouragement to people who need it and want you to spread the love. So let’s hear it –are you still in? If you are new to our site, say hello and let us know you’re here! We LOVE new faces!

Make sure you check back around lunch time when we’ll feature the Success Story of one our our Sisters. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it! If you haven’t already left us you feedback on this post, please take some time to do it! We really want to know what you think!

    i’ve been visiting for only about 2 weeks. I’m sticking around though, the more motivation and support the better.

    This mornings weight-in (i’m a WW girl and my actual WI is tomarrow, but since i have a TERRIBLE habit of weighing myself every moring…)I’m down 0.6lbs. NOT happy about it but can i blame my PMS for it?

    I did start Alli last week and its wonderful, I feel like I am cheating BUT I tell myself I am not. I eat right breakfast and lunch and snacks, I work my but off exercising twice a day, 30 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes on the ellipicore at Bally’s, then 20+ on the treadmill at home. I am only taking the Alli for dinner (you can take it up to three times a day with meals) I know more info than you want but let me tell you, its cool to see the fat come out when you go to the bathroom in the form of oil, ick who wants that in your body. Maybe at some point, I will not want to eat it and put fat in my body.

    One thing I wanted to mention: If you don’t normally weigh-in on Wednesdays, don’t sweat it. Just check in with your weight from your weigh-in day. We do Wednesdays because it falls in the middle of the week which means we have time to recover from nacho overload on the weekend :)

    I’m still here!!! I don’t normally weigh in on Wednesdays, but I did today. I am down a total of 17 lbs.! WAHOO!!! I didn’t make my 20 lb. goal by my birthday (today), but that is ok. I am feeling really good. I am down 1 jean size and have more energy to chase my hooligans!
    I have 8 lbs to go to get to my pre-pregnancy weight and a total of 37 lbs. to get to my ideal weight.

    I am feeling good about this and know I can do it. It helps that I also have a good friend who is a pilates instructor and has the equipment in her house and lets me come over and work out. It is really nice.

    I can’t wait for Spring to get here and for me to be able to start really working out outside. It is just so cold and gross out. I don’t want to take the children out in this.

    after only losing .8 last week, I thought for sure this week would be great, nope, only .6. Now I am really frustrated. That has me at 8.8 for the challenge and NO WAY I will make my 12lb goal. I have stayed on program completely, worked out 6 days a week and seem to have plateaued very early. I am trying to shake things up some this week, we’ll see how that goes.

    Well, I’m definitely not going to be winning the Valentine’s contest – but I am back down to where I was before I had a horrible couple of week and gained a bunch. That’s a triumph. …I’ll confide here that I’m having a little trouble with motivation right now. You see, I’d really like to be gaining weight right now because I’m pregnant. But I can’t take the test until Saturday to find out if I am or not. That’s going to be my fun Valentine – finding out … Anyway, it’s hard to feel motivated to push hard when I’m just waiting to start gaining. But if the test I take on Saturday is negative I’ve sworn that I’m gonna kick butt in the exercise dept the next month until I can take another test. But even that is kinda silly because it’s not like I can go buy new skinnier jeans if I loose 10 pounds now – after all, I’m just waiting to start gaining!

    I guess I win either way though, really. Either I win by loosing weight or I win by being pregnant.

    I didn’t have a weight loss goal, but I did have some lifestlyle goals. I accomplished about half of what I set out to do. It was okay, I think I could have done better. I am definately feeling a loss of steam on the whole thing right now. BUT, I’m still in it.

    Anyway, I tried on a bunch of clothes last week for a party we went to over the weekend and I know I’ve lost weight. Not sure how much, though, because I have no scale. The good news is that I could probably wear at least 2 pants sizes smaller . . .

    if it weren’t for my freakin’ THIGHS!! UGH!

    Any thoughts on getting rid of the thunder thighs? I would be feeling much about my weight loss if I could just get passed the thigh thing.

    Ok, I am ridiculously late in posting this. I didn’t get to post for last week either (man do I hate February, it is one of my busiest months at work). So, down .8 from 2 weeks ago for a total of 3.6 since Jan 2! Not much, but I’ll take it!

    I am absolutely not the biggest shrinker. I’ve lost some, gained it back, lost a lil gained again **ARGH**. Anyway, here’s my rant. I skipped a week (bad me).
    I still wanna be down a size by Spring Break. If I keep at it day after day I think I can do it.

    I am definately still around! I joined wieght watchers (online) on 1/5. I weighed in at 256. I started attending the meetings on 1/26 and weighed 249.6. My weigh-in's on are on Mondays and lastnight I weighed in at 240.6. I have lost over 5% of my body weight.
