Recipe Carnival – Main Dishes
Welcome to The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans very first recipe carnival! Kick off your tennis shoes, grab a cold bottle of water, and feel free to snack on the fresh fruit and veggies over there on the bar.
Since we have so many wonderful Sisters, we thought it would be fabulous to invite y’all to share some of your favorite recipes. I mean, aren’t we all looking for something new to try? I know I am. And what better way to get a new recipe than from someone you know who’s already tried it out and has some personal reflections on it?
So here’s how this carnival will work:
- Head on over to your personal blog and post your favorite main dish recipe. It, by no means, has to be an original recipe! If you want to include a link or source in your post, feel free! If you have the nutritional information or points values, please include those at the top or bottom. If you’re one of those people who takes pictures of plated food (like me), then please post a picture! Also, if you don’t mind, link back to us so your readers can come and check us out. I mean, what’s not to love, right?
- Come back here and leave your permalink in the comments section of this post. A permalink is the direct link to your post. So in order to get the permalink, just click on your post title and then copy the address up there at the top, then come back and paste it right in the comments!
- Go check out everyone else’s blogs and get your printer ready or your pencil sharpened! Don’t forget to leave some comments!
- You can also leave your permalink in the comments section of Lisa’s Tasteful Thursday post over at MomCentral! That’s right, our very own Lisa also blogs on Thursdays at MomCentral’s Food Blog, and promises to have a healthy recipe option today!
So that about sums it up! Get to posting and get back over here with your links! We can hardly wait to see what you’ve got up your sleeve!
Also be sure to check out our Carnival recipe here! It’s been tested, photographed, and it’s delicious!
Bon Appetit!
