By my calculations, we have officially reached day 30 of the 30-Day Shred! Woooohoooooo!!
Wow, it was a tough challenge. Day 1 left us thinking we’d never make it past Day 2. Day 2 left us unable to lift our arms above our waists, and boy were we hating those side lunges with anterior raises. Yeah, remember those?! Ouch. By Day 4 we weren’t quite as sore, and we were actually able to get off the toilet without assistance. We were making breakthroughs! When we started Level 2 we were feeling strong, accomplished, and so excited to move on. Of course, we were hating Jillian and rolling our eyes every.single.time she called us buddy and told us not to phone it in. Am I right or am I right? And those plank moves? Enough said. By the time we hit Level 3, we thought it would be smooth sailing, but boy were we wrong. Level 3 kicked it up to a notch most of us had never seen before. Can you say jumping lunges? Holy quadriceps! And Rockstars? Pure torture for our girls. Now, here we are, done! Go ahead and do one of those backward wind mills and pat yourself on the bottom now, k? You silly greasers!
We are so, so, so proud of all of you who took on this challenge with us. So proud!

And now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. We at the Sisterhood have been tossing around our next fitness challenge. We’ve come this far and we’re certainly not going to give up the level of fitness we’ve achieved with all those damn plank moves! We have decided to start the 30-Day Shred again! We are going to Shred again. Yes, you read right, we are going to start the 30-Day Shred all over again. Why, you ask? Well, because we’re a bunch of freaks, that’s why! No really, we’re going to do it because we love to hate Jillian Michaels. Because we saw results that we’ve never seen before. Because we know that it works! Because we’re sick of Anita and we want to follow Natalie this time. Are you up for it?
Don’t worry, we’re not going to get all Jillian on your a$$. We’ll give you a break and let you phone it in for a few days. The new challenge will start on Monday, May 11th. We’ll begin again on Level 1 and take it from there.
If you shredded with us the first time we beg you to keep it up! Join us again and let’s see if we can follow Natalie this time from the get go. Let’s try to do those push ups on our toes and those maybe up our weights.
If you didn’t Shred with us before, but secretly wished you had, now is the time for you to get up and get moving! No more excuses. We made it and so can you! - If you don’t already own a copy of the Shred, you have plenty of time to get one! Don’t forget you’ll need hand weights and a mat if you’re on a hard surface.
