Shrinking Days of Summer: Weigh-in #7

How’s everyone doing?

Today is weigh-in day. Aren’t you excited about stepping on your scale and seeing if you had a loss for the week? Yeah, yeah, I know it’s difficult to get excited about this stuff sometimes.

I know a lot of you are doing SO WELL with your weight loss, but I for one, am struggling just to maintain and not gain. Of the 7 weeks of this challenge, 4 of those weeks I have been out of town or had guests at my house. It has been a REAL challenge to lose ANY weight. I’m not making excuses….I’m just sayin’ it’s been a real problem for me.

Go ahead though. Bring that shiny hunk of stainless steel (or plastic) out, strip down to your skivvies (am I the only one who weighs as close to bare skin as possible?!), and weigh yourself. Go ahead. Do it now.

I’ll wait.

    For the record I weigh-in completely naked, after I go potty and before I even have a sip of coffee. Don't you know all of those things weigh a pound each!? Heh, ok not really but that's what I tell myself when the scale is being mean.

    After a week of sickness and drama I managed to maintain… no loss no gain. I'll take it! 171 # this morning.

    I'm out of town this week (visiting Lisa), and I'm not weighing in. Her scale doesn't like me and tells me I weigh about 1,700 pounds more than my scale says. Whatevs.

    Anyway, we're eating good and trying to stay active. It's not really too hard with 5 kids between the two of us!

    Congrats to everyone on their losses this week! If you didn't lose, don't worry. Today is a new day and it's never too late to turn it around!

    240.8lbs this am… which means I am down 1.2lbs :) That being said, I am frustrated on several different fronts with it, but hopefully the funk will go away soon
