Roll Call-EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge

Our next exercise challenge start date is quickly approaching and I need to know, are you “in” or are you “out”?

Here are the details….

  • EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge
    Start Date: Monday, August 31st
    Runs: 30 DAYS!
    Equipment Needed: Wii and the EA Sports Active “game” (or click on the link down there on the middle right, in the Sisterhood “Amazon” store)

RSVP (ha ha) by leaving me a comment telling me that you are ready to sweat  and can’t wait to have sore muscles and man oh man, you are pumped to exercise and lose a few pounds (or more).

    1) Complete the following sentence – “When I look in the mirror I see…” someone who wants to be healthier for her family – and I'm getting there! About 30 lbs lost so far!

    2) What exercise do you take? What’s your current level of fitness? It's good, I already do EAS Active, Wii Fit, and have begun running. I also do stomach exercises as well as use a resistance band, too.

    3) How do you relax? Heating pad, hubby and DVR. Heh.

    4) Do you watch your weight? Absolutely!

    5) What’s your favorite body part? My arms right now.

    6) What’s your least favorite body part? My belly and inner thighs, they look like deflated balloons because of loose skin from weight loss :(

    7) What’s your favorite way to workout? The Wii, hands down, awesomest. thing. ever.

    8) Its time to work out, we’re most likely to find you decked out in? Work out shorts/capris and a tank top w/ sports bra

    9) You’re due to workout, but it’s pouring rain. What do you do? Wii baby!

    10) What’s the one item you wouldn’t be without when working out? Sports bra LOL! Or wait, does it need to be something fitness-esque? I'd say the Wii, followed by the resistance band.

    11) What do you hope to get from the 30 Day Challenge? A flatter, tighter tummy, so much so that I don't have to hold it in as much as it stays in itself. I'd also like to strengthen my lower back muscles and work on more definition in my arms and legs.

    12) What are you apprehensive about going in? My back – I have a back injury that hurts me, so I can't do push-ups or plank because of it, and that sucks :(

    13) How will you reward yourself after the challenge? if I get down to my goal weight of being in the 130s, and get my body fat down enough, I'm going to talk to a doctor about removing the extra skin.

    14) Complete the following sentence – “I’m Active for …” EVER! No looking back. Big clothes be gone! ;)
