I gained last week and so was ashamed to check in (was injured and could not exercise). I started exercising again on Monday and have lost all I gained last week (2 lbs up and 2 lbs down)! So I'm back to 234 where I was at your first weigh in. Thanks for the inspiration!
  • Don't be ashamed!! That's why we're here, to pick you up when you are down. I'm so glad you lost the 2 you gained, though. Way to go!!!
  • No worries! We still have many weeks to go, and great job getting back on track!
  • Sounds like you're back on the right track! Hang in there, you'll do great!
  • marie_v
I'm around the same where I started to. It happens! Nice job losing it. Woohoo!

  • Ugh. I am NOT doing well with keeping my promises and reaching my goals, but at least I'm still losing, however microscopically!! I'm down 0.4 this week.

  • Lost the 1.3 lbs I gained last week plus an additional 1.2 lbs for a total 2.5 lb loss this week. Still getting up at 4:30 am during the week to do the EA Sports Active workouts.

  • I am down 1 pound this week, but I am on my third week of c25k and I can't believe I am running for 3 minutes straight. I know that doesn't sound like alot, and my son laughed at me and said - 3 minutes - anyone can run for 3 minutes...so i told him to get on the treadmill and let me see him do it - well, he went and hid in his room,...I think I will go pound him...So there
  • Hilarious! Its true- that 3 minutes feels like infinity!! Its freakin hard! Great job this week! Woot!
Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®
  • Awesome on the running! I am on week 4 (actually doing it for a few weeks until I get comfortable) and I totally understand the joy you feel! Great loss!
  • Way to go on the challenge and on your C25K!
  • BrookeF
you're doing incredibly!! :) and i'd say most of us who run remember back in the "woohoo 3 minutes day" pretty soon you're gonna be running circles around him on your way to your first 5K
  • I agree! Running is hard and it feels good when you reach those goals. Even if they seem small at first. Before you know it, you'll be running for 5 min, then 10 and on up! Way to go :-)
  • c25k is amazing! Great job, you'll be running 30 minutes straight in no time (well, about 7 weeks :)
  • marie_v
That's awesome! Building up your running stamina is haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard.
  • Down a pound :) which puts me at 4.2 loss for the challenge thus far

  • Sarah_MommyElephant
    Excellent job!
  • Oh, *much* better this week. Down 1.8, so knocked off a little over half of the 3 lb gain from last week.

  • lucidb
This week? Better than last week, for sure!

  • The bad news is I totally skipped out on reporting my weight (or blogging) last week. The good news is I am down since I first weighed-in to join this challenge. I started at 153.5 and I’m currently at 152. That means 24 oz of food toward my “stash” for a local food bank at the end of the challenge. Not too shabby. Here's my post:

I would LOVE to join your challenge! 2 months ago my start weight was 201 lbs (YIKES!) and after some health issues I started eating healthier and in those 2 months I've lost 21 pounds, I'm currently 180! In keeping with the timeline of the challenge, I was about 190 three weeks ago.

I just started working out (the gym wasn't open yet) so I'm looking forward to continuing to see progress! My post is up already at http://myplaceinthecalisun.blogspot.com thank you!!!
  • Still haven't lost anything, but if you want to read my boring food journals, check out my blog
  • I haven't posted yet and probably won't get to it, but I am down a pound from last week! Woot.
  • Sarah_MommyElephant
  • I'm down .4 this week. I guess anything is better than a gain.
  • Woo-fricken-hoo! Down .9 to 141.1!! Knockin on the door to the 130's, babay! HOLY CRAP!
  • Well, I have definitely fallen behind in my EA Sports Active challenge. I ended up with a VERY nasty flu last week, so I wasn't able to work out. This week I'm finally feeling better, but have to work some very long hours (11-12 hour days), and I've just been too tired to workout.

On the good news front, I was down 2.4 pounds at weigh-in this week. WOO HOO!!!!
  • marie_v
    I'll double that WOO HOO!
  • marie_v
I was out of town with no internet access last week, but am back in full force this week! I am up 2 lbs (158lbs), but that's ok. I didn't really exercise last week, and ate what I wanted with my family. Totally worth it. ;) I did convince my mom to join us!
  • SJs_April
  • Lisa_MellowCat
down 4 pounds again, but seem to be stuck on a see-saw. excersising and not eating as much junk.
  • spbray
I can't get my $#!& together to post when I'm supposed to! Sorry. Lost a pound this week. I'm at an even 180.

I didn't get to do weigh in yesterday but I went today and found that I had lost what I had gained last week...so back to 199.9! 3 pounds lost this week!! Yay!!
  • I stayed the same this week!!! and no matter how many times I have jumped on that scale first thing Wednesday mornings and have told myself... okay not blog about it before your son wakes up... it never seems to work out! I'm not sure what time it is where you live but it is 6:08a.m. here and I am just now getting a chance to update my results.... hubby and baby are both still sleeping before our crazy work day starts!!! Anyway, I am here and I will keep reporting.... but it may not be right on Wednesday... even though I think about it every Wednesday :)

Good luck this week everyone :)
  • Bari_F
Yah-it's Friday and I'm just getting around to posting. No blogging for a couple weeks-the first two weeks of school in my new job have been beyond crazy busy. My weight from Wednesday was 162.8, which I think is up 2.2 from a couple weeks ago. It sucks, but I'm trying not to beat myself up over it. I'm injured and can't run right now (or do any real cardio for that matter), and with my schedule I've only managed to do some strength training with youtube a couple times. Definitely not the level of workout I'm used to. I have to get back on track!
  • So I am SUPER late with this, but I stayed the same this week... which is not great, but not bad either!
  • 2 pound gain for me :(

I am retaining water at the momment!!! Those pounds will be gone next week for sure!!!
