Weigh-in Wednesday SFG Week 5

Hey guys!  It’s your favorite day of the week, you know, the one where you get to step on your scale and weigh yourself.

YIPPEE!

Anyone else weigh themselves first thing in the morning naked or almost naked?   Am I alone in this thought process, truly believing that my clothes add ALL the extra weight?!

For those of you participating in the EA 30 Day Challenge, this past Monday should have been your last workout if you have been keeping up.  If you missed a day here or there, then you should be finishing up this week sometime. 

What did ya’ll think?  I thought it was a good workout and if I never see a squat hold again, then I will be one happy camper.  Ditto on the inline skating.  And Jumping Lunges.  I do have to say that I have legs of steel now.  Of course, I need to lose some more weight so that YOU CAN SEE those muscles, ha ha. 

We’ll be starting our next exercise challenge next Monday, October 5th.  Our next exercise challenge is to train to run a 5K- a lot of us are doing the new EA 5K Challenge, a few of us are following the Couch 2 5K program.  You choose what works for you. 

Don’t think that just because there are a few days before we start that you have a FREE pass NOT to exercise.  Keep going, keep moving.

So are you shrinking, losing weight, collecting canned goods to give to a local charity?  Lose for Good-Shrink for Good.  It’s an awesome cause.  Lose weight for yourself, give food to others.  It doesn’t get much better than that.

    200.8 Down 1.8. That's moving in the right direction. This time I will diligently work on continuing in the right direction. It is so easy to figure that I've moved the right way so it's okay to have this or that.

    I HATE this time of the month… seriously… I bust my butt for weeks just for the evil hag to rear her head and ruin all my success… up 2.8 this week for a weigh in of 240.8 which puts me at only 4.8 loss for the challenge thus far

    Exciting!!!! I'm definitely looking at this weight as a get into the 100's. Get into the 180's, 170's etc. It's easier that way for me. Not as daunting.

    Lol, I'd weigh myself without my glasses if I could still see the scale. I've actually tried to, but I'm a fumbler and can never get them back on before the number disappears.

    And yes, I weigh myself totally naked, after I've worked up a good sweat and peed out any remaining fluids! Preferably in the morning, but lately it's had to be after I get home from work and work-out. The exercise is key, although I'm sure if I drink a glass of water after my run, I'll put at least a pound back on…lol…

    I was excited to weigh in today…feeling very hopeful. However, my scale had different plans…I guess it's broke because it had me weighing 35 lbs more than last week!!!! I hope I didn't gain that much in a week…lol…not sure what to do…don't really have the money to replace the scale. So, no weigh in for me this week. :(

    Absolutely…I weigh myself first thing, naked, after I pee! I didn't post last week because my internet was down, so I am down 4 pounds for the two weeks (which was a complete miracle). That's 7.8 pounds for the challenge so far.
