I made this chili today for dinner. I sauteed the onions, garlic and peppers a bit before adding the beans. Instead of 1 cup of broth, I used 4. I also added another can of the navy beans. For the topping, I placed slices of fresh avocado in a clockwise position leaving the center open for a dollop of sour cream sprinkled with "Southwest Spice" by McCormick (the red spice added some more eye appeal) then the sprig of cilantro. My husband loved it! Thank you.

You could use plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I'm going to try that, and I think it'll be good!

I found you on Pinterest, and I'm looking forward to more menu plans. I loved using your grocery list too. Too very simple...I need that right now. Thanks!!!

Hi Jamie! Thanks for the tip! We are in the process of going back through years of recipes and adding the print feature. Some recipes have been been missed and others we are still getting too. I'll be sure to get the print feature on this recipe right away!

Thanks!

Since your website offers printable grocery lists, why not add a print recipe button to each of the linked recipes?

Hi Timmy! This is the original recipe, but I have added more broth in the past. Kind of depends how brothy you like your soup. This is normally pretty chili like...not a ton of liquid, lots of beans & meat. Totally adjust to your liking. It's delicious either way:)

Is the one cup of chicken broth right? It really doesn't seem like enough liquid to make 8 servings.
