*UPDATE* The winner of the book and journal is…. Steph E.! Congrats, girl! I think I know where to find you, so I will get these books out soon!

Authors Rory Freedman and Kim Barnoin take a no-nonsense approach in their book, Skinny Bitch, and state that if you want to lose weight, you just cannot keep shoveling the same crap into your mouth. Really? Who knew?? They take the humorous (and disgusting!) approach when discussing the truth about what you are putting in your mouth.

Today, we are giving away a copy of Skinny Bitch AND Skinny Bitchin’ (a journal to help you achieve your goals). To enter:

  1. Leave a comment below, telling us what you are thankful for today.
  2. Follow us on Twitter and tweet about the giveaway!
  3. Join the ‘hood. It’s our very own social network!
  4. Last but not least, subscribe to the Sisterhood! You don’t want to miss a thing, right?

Thankful today for my super sweet hubby who threw my towel in the dryer when I was showering after my FREEZING 5:30 AM fitness bootcamp session. Reached for the towel and got a super awesome surprise when it was toasty and warm!

I am so totally thankful for my two wonderful children who bring me such joy (along with the frustration) and happiness and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
  • After having had a rather crappy day (emotionally) yesterday I was able to step back and realize all the amazing things that I have to be thankful for... I am wonderful children who are miracles...I am so luck to GET TO be their mommy * I need to remind myself of that more* and deep down I know my family loves me...and I am thankful for that... I am also thankful for my amazing and supportive friends (online and IRL)... I know that I am often not as good of a friend as they all deserve but I am working on it...
