The Saturday Review: Special K Giveaway

[ 29 ] 01/30/2010 |

Updated: Congratulations to Deanna6!  I didn’t see an e-mail for you so I went ahead and tracked you down on Twitter. Tweet, Tweet!

I love breakfast foods. Like, a lot. I think if given the opportunity, I would eat breakfast foods every single meal of the day.

What can I say? I’m a Carbs Girl!

That’s why I was so excited to find out that Crooked Eyebrow and I would have the opportunity to sample some of the new products from the Kellogg’s Special K line of breakfast foods and snacks.

This year, Special K® brings victory to life with six real women who are sharing their own personal victories, because what’s more encouraging than Declaring Victory with women who are just like you? These six women are sharing their stories both on television and online to encourage women across the country to declare victory this year. They aren’t celebrities or public figures; they’re real women—friends, neighbors, sisters and moms—all with one thing in common—this is their year. (That’s from their website.  I don’t write that well!)

Sound familiar?  : )

CE and I received samples of their new Low Fat Granola cereal and the new Fruit Crisps, both the Strawberry and Blueberry flavors.

Here’s CE’s take on the new products:

When I got granola in the mail, I was worried. I have never been a fan, at all. Ever. I swore the stuff off for good. Until I tried Kellogg’s Special K that it is!

Um, sisters (and bro) this stuff is amazing. I was eating it by the handfuls and it’s the perfect topping for yogurt or even ice cream.

The 100 calorie Fruit Crisps were amazing and quickly had my family wanting more. My son, who is a picker eater, LOVED them. In my books, that is simply amazing and they will surely be added onto my grocery list!

I couldn’t agree with CE more! I had a bowl of granola and milk one morning and it was so, so good. My 6 year old son likes it even more than I do. He’s requested it every morning since we received it in the mail.

And oh my goodness, the Fruit Crisps. They are like the best parts of a toasted Pop Tart all rolled into one. I love how crispy they are…almost like a cracker, but with wonderful fruit filling. Those boxes didn’t last long in our house either. EVERYONE ate those up!

Win it! Kellogg’s Special K has provided us with gift pack containing samples of thier newest products. To enter:

My favorite breakfast when not on a diet – Waffles. :) When I am though I like a good cereal and am quickly growing tired of my staples Multigrain cheerios, banana nut crunch.

My favorite breakfast is a Special K Bliss bar. I eat one every morning and the best one is the dark chocolate rasberry.

My favorite cereal is Kellogg's Bite Size Frosted Mini Wheats. It is one cereal that will keep me full all morning. I eat it pretty much every day for breakfast. If I'm up for a splurge, it would have to be the Stuffed French Toast from IHOP (pretty much an entire day's worth of calories in one meal-thus a splurge).

Thanks a landlord it! I acquired yet some insight. Life is so colorful, we should be able to live in, such as Korea and honor the planet. Human life is like rivers, slowly flowing, flowing rivers, flowing through the snow, flows through the prairie and ultimately into the sea, return to the embrace of nature, start a new reincarnation. Allow us to feel the meaning of life will come only to those you have those memories http://www.cheap-nikeshox.com/nike-shox-TL1.html
