The Saturday Review::Progresso Soup Giveaway

**HEATHER S. is the winner of the gift pack from Progresso! Thanks to everyone who entered!”

Who doesn’t love soup? Especially in the winter, when it’s cold and windy, and maybe even snowy. Soups warm the soul, and can be very good for you, especially when they’re packed with yummy vegetables, and not packed with calories and fat!

I recently received a gift pack of Progresso Light and 100 calorie soups to review. The thing I love most about Progresso Light soups is the Weight Watchers points are already calculated for me and printed right on the label! Although each can is two servings, with a Points Value of 0 or 1 on each serving means you can eat the whole can for a couple of Points. Score! Another thing I really like, is Progresso has several delicious Reduced Sodium varieties, and most of there soups are MSG free. Another bonus is a full serving of vegetables per serving!

My favorite was Savory Vegetable Barley, with the Chicken with Herbed Dumplings being the runner-up.

Progresso is have a very exciting contest right now, that each and every one of you can enter!

Here are the contest details (from the Progresso website):

    My favorite soup is this Rachel Ray recipe for Chicken Tortilla soup. You scrunch up some tortillas and put some cheese on top and then the soup and top with avocado and cilantro. It is yummy.
