Weigh-in Wednesday

What is that you say?  The answer is no, we aren’t skipping a weigh-in just because we are in between challenges! Go ahead, head over to your scale, step on it, peek at your weight, and then come back here and tell us all about it. 

Yes, really.

Today really is a weigh-in day.

How did you do?  Fantabulous or craptastic?! I was just looking for an excuse to use the word craptastic.

Write a blog post about your past week and your weigh-in, how you did, how you feel about it, etc etc.  Post the link in the comments or if you don’t have a blog, just leave us a long ole comment about yor weigh-in.

In other news:

  • We have a yummy, chocolate-y giveaway going on right now.  Yes, CHOCOLATE.  You might be thinking – how can they be giving away chocolate at The Sisterhood- but the answer my friends, is in the post about the giveaway.  You have until Friday to enter!   
  • **NEWS FLASH**  **NEWS FLASH**  **NEWS FLASH**  Our next challenge will begin on FEBRUARY 24th- woot, woot!!!!!  And guess what?  Due to popular demand, this next challenge is going to involve TEAMS.  So, if you want to be on a team for the next challenge (which again, BEGINS on February 24th), you need to leave a comment on this post letting me know that you want to participate.  Everyone’s team assignment will be announced on the first weigh-in post of the NEW challenge.  As usual, the Sisterhood has some more tricks up our sleeves to keep you guys going with the momentum of achieving a healthy lifestyle.  Stay tuned for details.

    I have had a little bit of both — fantastic working out, craptastic eating! LOL either way it translated to 1 pound loss, so 131 this week. This is the hump I can't get over. So, I need that flame again to be lit underneath my rear.

    not sure, but when you're not running away from the other inmates, you can pump some iron, so you'll definitely be getting exercise! then again you'll probably have to mail in your weigh-ins each week. which will be a total drag. so nevermind. don't kill anyone. it's not worth losing the internet access over. plus it's just plain not nice. :p

    Can't even bring myself to right a post. Same story, different week. In short, I am my own worst enemy. Back UP one pound.

    Yes, please please PLEASE put me on a team. Preferable with some sisters that will rain hellfire down on me if I slack off. I need a good swift kick. Barring that, I need the accountability being on a team will provide.

    That's EXACTLY what I need! So frustrated with myself — I'll do great for a week or two, then completely lose it and eradicate all the good I worked my ass off to accomplish!! Hopefully this upcoming challenge will help me to stay on track for more than a week or so at a time.

    I would love to be on a team for the next challenge!

    I am going to post my weigh in this week here for now. There has been something that has been going through our house and now its mine and my youngest (3) turns. Isn't that fun?! At least I managed to weigh in this morning!

    I am down 2.8 lbs for a grand total of 98.8 lbs lost. I almost cried on the scale because it was so close to that 100 lb loss mark. 1.2 lbs to go till I meet that goal!

    Craptastic here. Snow days, furnace went out, sewage in the basement (both are fixed now). I'm up .4, but that's a miracle because I've not been paying much attention to what I'm eating.

    I just joined, and I'm struggling with some emotional issues and my weight loss efforts, but I weighed in this morning (and decided it would be free of self-judgment). I weighed 144.6 lbs. I'm struggling to find a eating program that will work to help me lose weight at the same time I'm training for a triathlon. Weight Watchers hasn't worked for the first time in my life. I'm trying calorie counting now, using Daily Burn. I have joined the Shrinking Jeans Olympics and will try and catch up! I think I would like to be in the next challenge, but am apprehensive as I've been struggling sooo much to shed the pounds…

    wow, ww hasn't worked??? that was the only thing that worked when i was training for a tri last summer, it's so weird how everyone's bodies are different! what about body for life? that might be a good one! i did that one for a while until i finally needed to switch, but that was a great one! i think you definitely need to join our next challenge, because it's going to be FUN and you really need some fun in this journey. plus i'm training for a triathlon too and we can trade training stories and tips and stuff!! hang in there girl and stay with us!! sometimes it takes a little time to find the right “cocktail.”
