Fitness Friday – Getting Out

I admit that winter got to me.  I’m sick of the cold, wet, dreary weather.  All it makes me is lazy.  And lazy I have been.

Isn’t it funny how much weather can affect our moods?  The past few weeks here, it has been such a struggle to get up and get moving, but this week?  This week the weather is gorgeous.  The temperature is going to be in the high 70′s, low 80′s, the sun is out, a great friend is visiting, and we’re getting out!

We’re going on a hike. (Which is great exercise, by the way.)

And we’re going to enjoy the flowers that are beginning to bloom.

We’re going to get a great work out in, while enjoying this beautiful and amazing place I live in.

    No! I can't 'go out' today :( because it SNOWED like a mother yesterday. So enjoy some sunshine for me, k? And maybe send some to Utah.. we need it! haha.

    we DID!! we went out and bought a bubble rocket and a bubble jet and we went to the park and flew them around! and then i chased them around the playground and they're beat! LOL it's gorgeous out. time to get out and enjoy the roses!

    The weather in eastern Oregon has been an adventure for the past month, we have had some beautiful days & not so beautiful days. It is definitely a struggle to go out when the wind is blowing the rain sideways (today), while yesterday, the sun was out & it was a glorious day. I take it as I get it…I hope my motivation is there on those unexpected days of warmth & sunshine…or at least no wind & rain/snowy days! Have a marvelous weekend & go hunt eggs w/ someone!

    Sadly, no. I am still side-lined. And although it is sunny and looks all spring-like, it is actually winter-cold! But I did my yoga practice looking out on all the sun and grass ad beauty!

    I got out. I just finished a 6.3 mile run in 85 friggin' degree weather! 85 degrees on April 2nd-in Michigan. Next week it will probably snow.

    The area where you live looks beautiful. You are a lucky girl to be able to enjoy it with a friend this week. Have fun.

    I wish I was getting out today. I have to go to a wake tonight and a funeral tomorrow. It's beautiful here too. By the time I'm able to get out, it's suppose to turn to wind and rain and dropping temperatures. Just my luck!
