True Confessions

Oh look, it’s Tuesday! You know what that means, right? We confess, we air our dirty laundry and we move on. We move on and don’t let those poor judgments hold us back. Yes, if you had a lot of frappuccinos this week , you too can move on. It just might take a few more minutes on the treadmill.

Shall I go first?

Swell.

*Although I did weigh in last week I never blogged it. I did go up one pound.

* I was doing amazing during our last challenge. My diet and water consumption were in check. A few stressful weeks, nice weather and it all came crashing down.

* Coffee.  Not just my usual plain black brew but Caramel Frappe from McDonalds.  Okay maybe I had two three this week.

*Shit, I can’t lie, I had 3 Caramel Frappes from McD’s and a grande Venti Caramel frap.

*Treadmill? What’s that? I have not worked out in a week. This past week I have stressed about getting our house ready for a showing and spent every waking minute at home cleaning and well, obviously drinking high calorie coffee beverages.

*Slight depressive tendencies with a dash of stress cause me to take a detour from my main goal. I hopefully will have myself back on the right path for next week. I must get down another dress size for summer!!

*I overate at every single meal. NO portion control. NONE.

* Will I be shocked at another weight gain this week? NOPE. I deserve it. Now I know and have confessed what I have done poorly at. Here is to making a change in the right direction this week.

*Speaking of change are you in on the 21 day challenge ?

Now that I have spilled my chubby, guilty guts, isn’t it about time for you to share? Go on, get to it.

    well ok, i'm going to start it off.
    So i'm on this thing called the 21 day challenge (which i love!) and which i have called for myself the 21 day “cleanse” because I am not drinking and I am eating clean. and i'm learning a LOT. like, for instance, i had patterns of leisure eating, eating for no reason except for boredom. And, also, I learned I cannot score free tickets to a benefit hosted by one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and full of cool football players like Emmitt Smith an entire free buffet of gourmet food and TOTALLY OPEN BAR during my 21 day “cleanse.” because yada yada yada, the next day SUCKS. So now I'm outed.

    Hmmm. Well as far as the challenge goes, I'd say I'm about a 5 on a scale of 1-10. So not great.
    Pizza Hut snuck into my house on Sunday and my hands are still swollen. Hello, water retention!
    I have done great with running, but no cross training. I simply have not been able to make it to the gym. Which sucks, but I'll forgive myself because I do think I actually have extenuating circumstances…not just being lazy (for once).
    I ALMOST went through the DT at McDonalds yesterday, but was able to resist at the last minute. As in, I backed out of the DT. HA. Suck it, Ronald!

    I've just come to terms with my “lesisure eating” as well – I totally go off my rocker at night, once everyone is in bed and I can relax. I gave my yoga teacher the task of finding me good stress-reducing poses and breathing to do while I veg on tv or in between shows. Hoping that will help.

    Um…yeah, I just polished off the rest of my leftover pasta weesie from Carrabba's. (mmmmm.) Yeah, I messed up getting it in the first place, then did it again. My bad.

    oh my confessions…here we go.
    1) Melting Pot…three rounds of glorious fondue!
    2) Panera Bagel
    3) half jug margaritas
    4) white reese cups
    5) no exercise

    And that was just Saturday.

    You crack me up! Gotta have nights like this every now and then, and you had a great excuse. You totally get a pass for a bachelorette party.

    Um…well I gotta say it's nice to have some wonderful ladies for company!
    Last night I was starving and ate dinner which was home cooked and realitively healthy..tacos with wheat tortilla and lean beef, but while I was at work I was still starving and went and ate a Stouffers Mac & Cheese, and drank a coke for my lunch. Just that meal in it self was nearly 1000 calories. Had a apple with pb for my 5 am snack. Then on the way home (40 minute drive) I ate 3, yes, that's 3 entire cinnamon rolls w/cream cheese icing!! Then tonight for dinner I just ate a cheeseburger, fries, and drank another coke!! UGH!! I'm sure there will be significant pain for me in the morning when I weigh in — not to mention the digestive issues I am suffering from right now from eating so much crap in a 24 hour time period!

    Well at least I have been drinking lots of water and have been writing something positive everyday on Facebook which are my goals for the 21 day challenge!
