True Confessions- So Soon? Already? | The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans LLC

I feel like I have been confessing left and right, lately.  I would really like to say that I have nothing to confess, but then I would be lying and nobody likes a liar.  Anyhoo, it is True Confessions Tuesday here at The Sisterhood- a day for all of us to lay it all out there, to share with our Sisters our “confessions”- whether it be the good, the bad, or the ugly.

I know.  Fun, right?

I’ll share mine first.

  • Margaritas.  Saturday AND Sunday night.  There were good (as in they tasted oh so good), but all those empty calories were bad for me and the ugly, a spinning room one night morning– HA!!!!
  • July 4th BBQ.  I had all intentions of eating moderately and making good food choices, BUT then I arrived at the BBQ and my food senses were assaulted were all that is good, heavenly BBQ goodness.  IJS.  The good was that all that BAD food tasted GOOD, but the ugly is that I had little self control.
  • The good- I have been exercising regularly this past week, even running.  The bad- it’s left me exhausted.  The ugly- I have attempted running TWICE this past week and while I finished my workouts, my hip (remember my wonky hip?) is still wonky and aching and I DON”T LIKE IT.  I am so tired of my hip hurting when I run (not other exercises- just running).  I am slowly coming to the realization that I am going to have to table running for a short time while I figure out once and for all what is going on with it and how I can repair and recover.  In that vain, I am going to start searching out a sports rehab guy/person/doctor/chiro to visit and hopefully get some REAL help in this area.
