Sister Spotlight :: Thea
If you follow me and Thea on Twitter, I’m sure you’ve noticed tweets such as, “Shut the hell up.” or “Jerk.” being thrown at one another. We mean it in good fun, but what none of you may not realize is just how much I really admire Thea.
I remember Thea saying once that she hates to train for an event. Yet, if you keep up with her at all, you’ll know that in the past few months she’s done TWO triathlons. She loves the feeling of race day. Thea is one that truly gets and embraces that it’s all about the journey.
Also, she is one of the most supportive people I know. She’ll listen to you, support you, and be there for you like no other. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it but isn’t afraid to tell you that you need a good popping for eating ice cream fourteen days in a row.
Thea, you’ve been here for me. You’ve listened to me when I’ve needed it. You’ve given me insight and you make me think. Knowing you has made me a better person because I find myself asking myself questions that you would ask me. I am so very proud to call you my sister.
