True Confessions

It’s True Confessions Tuesday- the day where you lay it all out on the table for all of us to read.  I’m going to keep this short because frankly, I am exhausted.  Let’s get on with it, shall we?

  1. My 2 year old toddler fell into a lake yesterday and my friend dragged him out of the water.  Can we say adrenaline pumping?  He’s OK.
  2. I feel like I’m getting sick.  I thought it was allergies at first but Monday afternoon (after the toddler scare), I started feeling like I was going to puke and that feeling is still here, 8 hours later.
  3. I hate feeling sick.
  4. I ran 7.5 miles on Sunday with my friend Amanda.  Another runner dude on the trail took our picture for us and said that “at least our boobs would be in focus”. I can’t make this sh!t up.  For realz.
  5. Last Friday, I had 15 7-year olds at my house for my daughter’s birthday party.  Can everyone say L-O-U-D with me?

I know, I know, most of my list was not fitness or weight loss or nutrition-related, but this is what’s been on my mind this past week.  Did I mention how sick I am feeling right now?!  Anyhoo, please share your confessions for the week- all of it.  Post your link in the Linky below and then make sure to visit all the posts and leave some love, m’kay?

    Sorry about you being sick! Mine started out with allergies, then I think some bug, and now a UTI! Ugh! Can it end already?

    2. I actually grabbed a can of diet dr pepper this morning from the work frig instead of my water bottle!
    3. I’m going to beat this funk and starting now I’m going to dump the diet dr pepper and grab my water and have a good day!
