Sisterhood Spotlight
It’s time again for another Sisterhood Spotlight! Our Shrinkvivor winner, Mary, was last week’s pick and this week she had the chance to turn the Spotlight on another Sister. Without further ado, here’s Mary…
Last week I was surprised and thrilled to be Spotlighted by the Sisterhood. I was still basking in the glow of winning the title of Ultimate Shrinkvivor and then to have this added on was truly overwhelming – so much more than I deserve. And I was especially honored to be spotlighted by Lisa, a Shrinking Jeans Rock Star. I don’t think there’s anything she hasn’t done and done well and I was flattered that she even knew I existed much less thought of such nice things to say about me. Thank you, Lisa, I am truly honored!
And now it’s my turn to spotlight and the person I’ve chosen is Staci Lee Fulp.
I got to know Staci during the Shrinkvivor challenge when we were on the same team, Blue Babes Burning Booty. Our team was awesome – everybody supportive and involved – and this was borne out by the fact that two of us made the final 7. Yes, Staci was a fellow finalist and if I couldn’t win, I would have wanted her to.
Although she’s young, she’s wise beyond her years. She realizes at this early age that good health and fitness are gifts she can give to herself now that will last a lifetime.
She manages to go to college, play guitar and keep herself healthy without missing a beat. She’s devoted to her family and her friends and is a devout, faithful Christian. Fun loving and with a positive attitude, she’s up for almost any kind of exercise. She enjoys running, cardio workouts, walking, and strength training and she’s tried Zumba, Hip Hop Hustle, and Turbo Kick.
I know Staci has a beautiful future ahead of her because she’s a beautiful person inside and out and I’m so happy I got to be her teammate. I don’t think she even noticed that I was old enough to be her grandmother. If she did, she never let it show. And that says a lot about an exceptional young lady!
Congratulations on your successes, Staci. I know they’ve only just begun.
