Happy Friday! It’s time to share all our favorite links from around the internet in our weekly-round up! These may or may not be health-related today, because it’s Friday and I’m lazy and my head hurts.

  • I received a late birthday present this week– a gift certificate to Gussy Sews. Ohmycuteness. Whatever shall I pick? Seriously. This stuff is adorable.
  • Three avocados. My husband and I both LOVE this coffee. And proceeds go to help bring clean water to Ugandans.
  • Speaking of Uganda, this amazing woman is IN Uganda bringing hope to the children. If you are not familiar with her story already, you must read her blog. I am in awe of her.
  • While we are on the subject of people in need, I’ve been working hard on the 2011 team blog. Check it out! We hope to fund a well (or three) for charity: water and we want you to be on our team. I added in some photos of last year’s team and had fun going down memory lane. I can’t wait to see who will be participating this year. Absolutely ANYONE is welcome to participate. Unless you are a crazy, angry, stalker-killer or something.
  • Feeling moody, sad, tired, and not like your normal self? We are in the throes of winter and it’s possible you might be suffering from seasonal affective disorder. Read more here.
  • For the last few months, Christy and I have been contributing vlogs to well, then. Well, then is a website dedicated to encouraging people to share the ways they are healthy and how they do it. From ways to exercise to living with diabetes, well, then provides a community for like-minded individuals to share tips on what works for them. See Christy talking about how to get your spouse out and moving here.
  • Who can forget the Superbowl this weekend? I am a bit sad my beloved Colts aren’t in it, but I will become a cheese-head for the weekend. Check out these healthy delicious-sounding recipes from This Mama Cooks!

Disclosure: Harvard Pilgrim has empowered us to participate in the “Well, Then” community and we have been compensated to
participate.
