Weekly Check-in

Hello hello!

We’re in between challenges but that doesn’t mean you should let your *eating right, living right* goals fly out the window.  We still want you to check-in, weigh-in, or whatever you wanna call it.  So yeah, go ahead and step on the scale and share the good news with us!  Also, I want you to tell me ONE thing you are proud of from this last challenge (or if you’re new- one thing you are proud of from the last month).  It can be fitness-related, health-related, good choices-related or even non-related.

Really, I want to know cuz I’m nosey like that.

So hurry up chop chop.  Time’s a wastin’.  Leave your blog post link below and make sure to continue to check in because we will have details about the new challenge posting soon (challenge will start May 1st).

Ciao!

Can’t wait to learn all about the new challenge!! What am I most proud of from the last challenge? That I saw it through to the end — I didn’t run out of steam at week three and just coast to the finish. I really did my best, and I got the results to prove it!

What am I proud of from the last challenge? I maintained my weight (actually ended a smidge down) and completed the 100 push-up challenge!

I may or may not post a check-in post today.

I’m so proud of you for completing the push-up challenge! I caved, but will be starting again once the boys go back to school next week. Great job, Bari!

I’m proud that I have completely changed my eating habits, that I am exercising at least 5 days a week and that I lost 22.7 pounds during the challenge. I am very proud of myself and I look forward to continuing my new lifestyle!

I am proud that I took part in this challenge. It stopped my uncontrolled eating and weight gaining. I lost 5 lbs in during this challenge and reigned in my eating. I got focus in my running and am ready to run the Reno half marathon with Kirsten and Ashley!

I can’t wait for the new challenge! I didn’t know about this site until the last challenge finished up so I’m looking forward to jumping into the next one. What am I proud of lately? I am a teacher & I had a checkup after an evaluation this week. I was told by the principal that he has gotten more compliments & good comments about me from parents than anyone else. That was nice to hear! As far as working out goes – not too proud about that. My 2 year old son has been getting in the way of the working out lately – I’m hoping that will change!

I LOVED the last challenge. It was my second challenge on this site, and I can’t believe my partner and I won the jacket!! It was all my partner’s doing cuz my weight was up and down all throughout the challenge, but still…I’m happy!! I’ve pretty much stayed the same weight for this week…it’s Spring break and my birthday week, so peer pressure has gotten the best of me so I’ve gone out quite a bit this week… I can’t wait for this next challenge! The Shrinking Jeans community has been one of the most motivating things for me through my journey!! Thank you!

Here’s my latest post: http://finallygettingfit.wordpress.com/2011/04/19/im-on-a-roll/ I did finally manage to hit under that 180.5 mark and landed at 179. FINALLY!

I found out yesterday that my thyroid has officially died and so I’m surprised that my weight hasn’t gone up. I guess the thing that I’m most of proud of during that last challenge is really keeping up with my intake and making myself DO something even though most of the time I felt like I had been hit by a truck and just wanted to sleep. I don’t want to use my “condition” as an excuse to be fat. I want to be the exception to the rule.

I’m proud of pushing through to the end…I’m not proud of what I did after the challenge though!

I was thrilled when I saw there will be a new challenge in May!! I wasn’t sure if there would be one, so I am sort of having a small challenge of my own. If you would like to win a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Shaping the New You, I would love for you to join up. You can see the info in my weekly post and there are more details coming.

I am proud of the fact that I somehow seemed to lose weight each week except one and I ended up losing 12 pounds during the challenge. I am also proud of the fact that I found a way to exercise with my foot hurting. Though I am so glad it is better now.
