Burst Into Summer: June 22 Check-In

Here we are Sisters & Brothers, our first official check-in for our new Burst Into Summer challenge.  Be sure to complete the form below by 9pm CT to check-in for the challenge.

I actually had a really successful first week for the challenge.  After taking a break from the shrinker portion in the recent May Your Way challenge, I decided to get back to focusing on doing some actual shrinking during this challenge.  I’m happy to report that I dropped over FOUR pounds this week, 4.2 pounds to be specific.  Woo Hoo!

Shrinking Bootcamp

For those participating in the Shrinking Bootcamp portion of the challenge, how’s it going?  Is anyone else as sore as me? LOL  That first workout was a doozy, but I got it done.  I don’t know about you, but I hate with the heat of a thousand suns have a new found respect for side plank dips, that’s for sure!  I’d never done those before and my body reminded me of that fact very quickly. LOL  I dread can’t wait to see what’s coming in the next workout!

Mini-Challenge

We also had our mini-challenge for the week that kicked off last Wednesday.  In case you don’t remember, this week’s mini-challenge was all about HYDRATION.  How did everyone do with getting in their water?  I actually did really well and managed to get in and average of 80 ounces per day this week.   I’m definitely planning to keep up with that during the course of this challenge because hydration is so important!

Now it’s time for your new mini-challenge for this week … breakfast!  In case you aren’t already aware, there are many benefits of eating breakfast.  In fact, some say it’s the most important meal of the day.  Unfortunately, it’s also the one meal of the day adults are most likely to skip.  So, that’s the challenge.  Eat breakfast every day this week.  We’ll be checking in on Facebook and Twitter throughout the week to see how everyone is doing.
