O, Fitness Tree – 25 Days of Exercise

So it’s almost December. Can you believe it? I know I can’t! Where has this year gone?! How am I going to get all of my shopping done? How will I keep my jeans from getting too tight?!

ACK. The questions are overwhelming me. So I’m just going to say it:

The 25 Days of Exercise are the way to go. You get a cool Exercise Advent Calendar, you exercise everyday until Christmas, and you give yourself sticker rewards. What else do you need to keep yourself going this holiday season?!

And now, I have worked my lyrical magic to make you really want to join us for the 25 Days of Exercise (as if you weren’t already sold on the whole sticker reward thing!):

So how can you join in this FUN for the low, low price of NADA? It’s simple! Just print out this awesome tree. Get some tape or glue and put it together, and find some really awesome sparkly, scratch-n-sniff, puffy stickers to reward yourself with every day after you exercise. If you have littles running around your house, you’re more than likely going to have to print one out for them as well because they are going to be JEALOUS!

One more thing….you know you’re supposed to water your tree right? Every.single.day or it will dry out and look like crap before Christmas even arrives. That’s right, you need to make sure you’re guzzling at least 64 ounces of water a day – it’s hard to remember sometimes this time of year!

    Okay…I just printed the tree and I’ll bring some stickers home from school tomorrow.  I hope I can do this every day.  What kind of time factor are we working with?  Is it any kind of exercise or a certain amount of exercise?  Is it okay to do 20 minutes one day and then maybe 60 the next or should it be a certain amount of time every day?  I’m overthinking this, aren’t I?

      No time factor, Nancy. Just some kind of exercise every day! Walking, bootcamp, running, yoga…..you name it!

    Okay, I had my tree on the bulletin board when my kiddos got home today.  My kiddos were waiting for me to get home work to find out what the tree was for.  When I told them it was my “O, Fitness Tree”, my 15 year old son belted out “Oh Fitness Tree, Oh Fitness Tree, How lovely are your workouts!…”  I loved it!  (He’d be embarrassed to know that I shared this on the internet!)

    I am so excited to get to workout 25 days in a row with my best fitness buddies!

      My kids were super-excited to see my tree on the pantry door, too. They want me to print one out for each of them.

      And I think we might have to commission your son to write little ditties for the Sisterhood ;)
