Hello there!  If you are here on a Wednesday morning, it must be check in time.  Go hop on those scales and see how Thanksgiving was to you.  Go ahead, I’ll wait.  Okay, now tell us how it went.  Either write a post and leave your link or just tell us about it in the comments.

We have some fun stuff going on right now here at the Sisterhood.  I’m totally enjoying the 10KaDay Challenge.  It got me back to wearing my Fitbit and being accountable for getting more than 10,000 steps a day.  I’m proud to say that I never got under 10,000 steps all week.  One day I even had over 14,000 steps.  Tell us how you did in the comments.

10KaDay Challenge!Starting tomorrow, we have the O Fitness Tree / 25 Days of Christmas challenge starting.  Have you checked this out yet?  I printed my tree and brought home some stickers from school today.  I am ready to start.  I am just having a hard time believing that it is already December.  I swear the older I get, the faster time goes.

We also have a couple great giveaways going on.  There’s the My Fitness Trainer cards with the infamous Mizfit and the Merry CLICKmas giveaway.  Go check them out.  I’m sure you’ll want to get yourself entered.

That’s it for me this morning.  I hope you are involved in the challenges.  This is the time of year where we really have to pay attention to what we are doing.  It’s way too easy to get off track.  Now is the time when we can really give each other some support.  Good luck everyone.

    Thanksgiving was good to me. I was down 1.6 pounds at my WW weigh in, which is great because the week before I was up 1.4. Not all days above 10k, but most. Yesterday wa 10,311. :)

    you’re killing it on the steps nancy!  i haven’t made it to 10K yet, but i’m working on it.

      My job has a lot to do with my steps.  I’m always walking up and down the halls taking preschoolers to the bathroom and then chasing them around in the classroom too.

    I only wore my pedometer one day. Yesterday. I bought it on Sunday and forgot it on Monday.  I managed about 8500 steps.  I even wore through dance class.
    i forgot it again today.  Does anyone have tips on how to remember to carry it?

      I leave mine on the bathroom sink so that I see it first thing in the morning.

    I honestly forgot to weigh today….it’s the first time in forever I haven’t weighed myself on a Wednesday. I haven’t been moving enough and I haven’t been careful enough with the food either. I’m in such a slump….planning to do the 25 days of Christmas! Hoping that will pull me out!

    Haven’t been doing so great in the healthy eating department lately but I have been moving and doing the 10K a Day challenge. Using my fitbit I won in a fabulous giveaway here on the Hood months back. I am even using it to track my sleep, which has been pretty interesting. Back to the steps though, what is great is that wearing the Fitbit really motivates me to rack up those steps! For exaple, yesterday I was super busy and missed getting in a walk .. I was super low on steps at the end of the night so today I made sure to move around more than usual to make up for it. It feels like a mini-contest for myself! And I’ll be doing the O’Fitness Tree also. Got some stickers today and I’m all set!
