About Lissa: Melissa is the Co-Founder of Shrinking Kitchen and the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans She has been married for a dozen years and is mother to six children (17,14, 10, 10 and 2 and a foster baby!). Melissa has a love/hate relationship with food (okay, mostly candy) and cooking. This isn't improved by the fact that her husband, the true family chef, works in another city half the year, leaving Melissa to figure out how to feed her growing family something other than Pop-Tarts.     I’m going to start this because I lollygagged and didn’t get myself signed up for the Zombie Dash (insert kick in the butt here) and I need to change my procrastinating ways. I like the team fitness/weight loss competitions. I need that accountiblity and there is no better way then having a team pushing and prodding you along. As far as the website…I like it even though I haven’t been around much lately (lollygagger that I am)! I hope to get back into everything you gals have going on here…I know you each spend a lot of time writing articles and providing valuable information! So thanks for sticking with it through the slow times. I know it’s disheartening to write something and no one comments or very few read the information. I for one am going to get better at that!

    I read nearly every post…but this year I have been a bit overwhelmed with life! Excuses, excuses, excuses!! I have been rather distant lately because I am ashamed of my lack of effort in my weightloss journey! I’m frustrated with myself and therefore instead of reaching out to my peeps I have just been sitting here reading from the sidelines and not even commenting very often! I absolutely NEED my Shrinking Jeans ladies to help me get back to losing and tracking and exercising and becoming the person I need to be!! I love the weight loss challenges and the team ones really help to keep me moving even when I don’t want to! I love the phyical exercise challenges although I haven’t been following along with them even though i really need to! Please don’t go away!! I NEED YOU! xoxoxoxoxoxo

    I am new to your blog. I found your blog from someone pinning your calendar. I haven’t been around long enough but most definitely keep the calendar with the daily exercises.

    Love love LOVE your blog. I read every post but may not comment. Love the monthly exercise calendars, love the honesty in the posts as you all go through the same struggles we do. I would love to see more fitness challenges or weight loss challenges. But that being said, if you changed nothing, I would not be unhappy! Thanks for everything sisterhood!
