Wednesday Roll Call!

Hey, everyone!! How has your week been? What’s new in your world? Let us know in the comments below what you’re up to!

I tried something new this week! I’ve been paying a lot of lip service to the “try something new” campaign lately, but my follow through has been severely lacking. Not so this time! One of the other moms at school convinced me to try an aquagym class at the local pool while the boys had their swimming lessons. (Did you check out Mel’s review of AquaZumba on Saturday? Great minds think alike, apparently!) I had a great time chatting with others, got to laugh at my severe lack of coordination, and got a good workout too. All three of us left the pool with a smile on our face and a spring in our step. This is going to become our Friday evening ritual. So nice to make it a family event!

Now it’s your turn. Pop us a comment, let us know how you’re doing, what you’re doing, and what WE can be doing to help you do even better!

I am doing pretty good. I finally bit the bullet and decided that I would compete in a Figure competition in 2013. I still have a ways to go, but I know I can do it. I am doing Insanity Asylum, coupled with strength training. As well as some running in between. Just coming off of a torn ligament in my knee so I have had to scale it down a little bit.

I am celebrating a non-scale victory – posting my photos from 6 weeks ago compared to today. A BIG difference! http://www.reneejross.net/weigh-in-wednesday-week-7/#

Scale is not moving as much as I would like but I do feel good about the progress i am making with improving my running pace and being more consistent in hitting the pavement! We’ll see what we look like on the scale by weigh in time at WW on Saturday morning. Trying to really focus on eating clean! And getting the water intake taken care of.

Karena, that aqua fitness class sounds awesome! My gym has something like that. I need to check it out!
