Pure Protein Review: Powder, Shakes, and Bar Giveaway

0

Not long ago, we posted an informative article about the benefits of consuming 30 grams of protein immediately after a workout or run. Research has found that 30 grams seems to be the *magic* number to give your muscles the tools they need to do the building and repairing that peaks in the 3 to 5 hours post-workout.

Pure Protein gives you an assortment of great tasting ways to make sure you’re getting the protein you need to build a lean, strong body. The whey protein comes in several tasty flavors, and even offers an all-natural variety for those looking to avoid artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners. Pure Protein’s also got your on-the-go lifestyle covered with convenient Ready-to-Drink canned shakes and 9 delicious bar flavors that you can toss into your purse or gym bag.

If weight loss is your goal, a diet including Pure Protein will keep your body fueled and hunger satisfied. You can even find a 7-day meal plan on the Pure Protein website that outlines daily snacks and meals with nutritional information.

When I was asked to do a Pure Protein Review, I was excited to try it out! Some things I love about Pure Protein Whey Powder: not gritty at all. The powder is very fine, so it blends easily, and the great vanilla cream flavor that makes a smoothie so thick and rich. It made me feel full and satisfied for a long time, without a crash from too much sugar. I think I’ll definitely be incorporating it into my morning breakfast smoothies for the entire family! My kids loved their breakfast ‘shakes’, and having the ability to make them even healthier makes this mom happy.

The Ready-to-Drink shakes were super convenient to grab out of the fridge, but they were a little thin which left me feeling less satisfied than when I blended up a smoothie with the powder. We enjoyed several flavors of the bars, with the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup flavor being the household favorite. I mean, hello, chocolate and peanut butter = WIN WIN!

Here’s my favorite recipe using Pure Protein Whey Powder:
