Good morning, Shrinkers! I know it flew by, but here we are in WEEK 4- the FINAL weigh in for our Spring Fling Weight Loss Challenge! Go get on that scale and do your thing sweet things!
How did you do? What progress did you make in the last four weeks? We would love to hear about it! And do you remember also that Christy issued two mini challenges last week? The 30-Day Squat Challenge and the Sisterhood Shots: May Photo-A-Day Challenge. I am behind a few days on the former and missed the boat altogether on the latter but plan on jumping right in anyway.
If you’re like me and your weight loss did not measure up to your expectations in this particular challenge, there is nothing to worry about my friends because you can still join the Shrink for Good weight loss challenge The Hood is hosting over on DietBet. Unlike Monopoly, new players are welcome even after the game has started! This is a charity game and it works like this: the ante is $25 and 50% of the total pot will go directly to charity: water. The rest of the pot will be split among all participants who lose 4% of their body weight or more! You can use the money to treat yourself, or if you choose, you may also donate your winnings to our cause.
Also- just a reminder, this is the LAST week to register for The Sisterhood’s Virtual Run The ‘Hood 5k and 10k, which takes place in your own neighborhood or anywhere else you want to run or walk your heart out. Bring your foxy back! You WILL get a great T-shirt and a finisher’s medal!
Ok – Phew! That was a lot to cover! My target heart rate was climbing – can I use writing this post as my workout?!
