Blast Into Summer Check-in, Week 1 {weight loss challenge}

Blast into Summer!  A new weight loss challenge from @shrinkingjeans! #health #fitness #nutrition #weightlossWeek one of our latest weight loss challenge is in the books, and what a week it’s been! If you’ve got kids in school, they’re most likely out of school at this point, and your life if probably a lot crazier! We kicked off summer with an awesome pool party yesterday, and if it’s any sign of what’s to come this summer for my eating, then I need to grab on to My Fitness Pal and hold on tight. EEEK! I will say that I’ve been working out hard, so I just need to get my eating to match my exercise and I should be great next week.

Alright, it’s time for me to put my contacts in, my bra on, drink some coffee, and figure out what to do with my kids today! Sadly, we can ‘t have a pool party every day……or can we?! If you have kids, feel free to share some of the ways you plan to keep busy this summer!

    It was a great week for me!! Last week showed up with my first “real” gain of a pound. No worries though, this week I lost that pound plus!! I’m kicking butt with Nancy and Jillian (and Adah)! I am also sticking with the #sisterhoodcrunches and beginning to see some ab muscles!!
    Summer rocks!! Relaxed schedule and lots of swimming (and I finally got a suit so I can swim too!)

      Good for you, Ann!! I’ve been swimming a lot too. Maybe we need to work on a post about exercising in the pool while our kids are swimming!! I’ve been jogging in the pool, and doing pushups with my hands on the side…. Good stuff!

    I’m down two pounds since last Wednesday. The real challenge is to lose 3 more pounds over the next 3 weeks – and keep them off. I posted my training yesterday on my blog. (I’m doing a variety of the workouts, including the 30-day ab challenge. Hoping it does the trick!)

    I’m down 3 lbs. I know I can’t expect that every week, but it’s good to know doing the 30-day shred and ab challenge are paying off :)

    I was down 2.5 pounds, then…. My husband went on his monthly nine days off, which is the hardest time for me to stick with it. I haven’t weighed in yet because I’m not feeling well, & it may just have to wait another day or two.
