Top 10 Ways to Get Back on Track After Vacation

tracks

You’ve back from vacation. Bags are unpacked. Laundry started. Pictures shared. Memories made. Stories already being re-told. Relationships with extended family still intact (hopefully!). Work life or the normal routine starting to set in. Everything is set for you to move on and move ahead. Everything but you. Maybe your mind is still back on vacation and maybe you are still thinking of how your health and fitness goals took a wee bit of a vacation of their own while you were away. I know I am. Even after writing this post where I confessed to my fried clams-chowder-lobster rolls extravaganza and not a single running mile to my credit.

If you have any other tips to share on how to get back on track, let’s hear them in the comments. Who is ready to recommit with me TODAY?

AMEN!! We are going on a mini-vacation next weekend and I am looking forward to a little r&r with my brother and his family and NOT worrying about what I am or am not doing for my health and fitness. BUT, I know getting back to the routine of my new “normal” will be vital immediately after we get home. NOT beating myself up for the choices I make on vacation will be HUGE for me!
