You’ve back from vacation. Bags are unpacked. Laundry started. Pictures shared. Memories made. Stories already being re-told. Relationships with extended family still intact (hopefully!). Work life or the normal routine starting to set in. Everything is set for you to move on and move ahead. Everything but you. Maybe your mind is still back on vacation and maybe you are still thinking of how your health and fitness goals took a wee bit of a vacation of their own while you were away. I know I am. Even after writing this post where I confessed to my fried clams-chowder-lobster rolls extravaganza and not a single running mile to my credit.

Now, we are going to talk about what to do once you get back home and the reality hits you: you are not on vacation any longer. It’s time to face the music and get down to business. - EAT. Don’t ‘make-up’ for overeating by not eating.
- REVISIT your food journal and repeat a good week.
- REMIND yourself how far you’ve come.
- MOVE to get your sweat on.
- DON’T let one bad meal turn into a bad day turn into a bad week turn into a bad month.
- VEGETABLES are your friend.
- REPEAT this tomorrow.
