I love all the possibility the new year holds. If you are like me, you have rededicated yourself to fitness. There are so many things out there to help us along and motivate us. I found one a year or so ago that I really love. It’s called EveryMove and it’s awesome!
EveryMove is a website that keeps track of what you are doing in the fitness part of your life and then rewards you with points. They make it amazingly easy for you. There are four ways to earn points…..
1. Enter your activities.
2. Track your steps with a device like a pedometer or FitBit.
3. Use an app like Facebook or Foursquare to “check in” at healthy places like your gym or a 5k event.
4. Invite friends and family. You can be a great source of motivation for each other, so we reward you with points when they’re active — and vice-versa.
The simplest, easiest thing I do to earn points is sync my FitBit to EveryMove and I get points every day for my steps. As I was researching for this posts, I realized that I am not taking full advantage of this website. That stops today, I assure you.
The rewards are pretty cool. There are many to choose from and it doesn’t take a lot of time to earn them. Some of the ones I have earned are Amazon gift cards, donations to the Make a Wish Foundation, a one year membership to iBodyFit.com and a free starter kit from Designer Whey. There are so many others too. You’ll just have to get on there and check it out.
If you are looking for that little extra push of incentive to keep you on track this year, I highly recommend EveryMove. At the very least, if you sync your FitBit or BodyMedia, it’s a no brainer.
