Article by ChristyFollow me:

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans Weight Loss Boot Camp Challenge #WLBootcamp #weightloss #challenge

HOLY MOLY! I can’t believe we already made it through week 1 of our New Year’s Weight Loss Boot Camp! How are you holding up? I’m sure wherever you are (if you’re in the US) it’s probably cold. Unless of course you live in SoCal. And then we really don’t like you right now! Ha!

Seriously though, it’s been a FANTASTIC WEEK! I cannot believe how many wonderful people we have participating in our #WLBootcamp, DietBet, and hanging out in our private Facebook Group (have you joined? If not, you are totally missing out). Seriously, keeping up with all of you has been a full time job………THAT I LOVE! The support everyone is passing around makes me want to try to so much harder, because hello, constant virtual high fives and hugs.

So check in below. Leave a comment telling us about your first week. Did you weigh in this morning and see a shiny new (***lower***) number? I sure hope so. Are you sore? Have you been squatting and doing your push-ups? What about the bootcamp? I know so many people are doing our 6-week online bootcamp and loving it (okay, they hate it in a loving way!).

Did you feel like this at any point this week?

If you’re a blogger, please leave a link to your post today so we can come smother you with motivation and support!

This Week’s Mini-Challenge

That would equal 21 nicey-nice things about you. You can share them with the world, or keep them to yourself. But honestly, you probably should share them, because it will make you feel so much better, and then we can agree with you and make you feel even more spectacular. So do it, m’kay?

So that’s it! We’ll see you here, same time next week for another check-in! MWAH!

I’ve done great with the nutrition and good part. I’ve switched to a complete whole food diet diet. I’m limiting the preservatives and inflammatory food and feel great. The workouts and exercise is a whole new story. I’ve done one-half of one work out. And this is going to sound silly… but I do not like the DOMS. I don’t know how to get over this. I would do everything and enjoy if i didn’t feel like a 90 year old woman crawling out of bed. And it’s not like i do nothing. I dance and reach dance but traditional volcano and weight lifting moves just really make me ache. How can i learn to loves it? Help?

Checking in!!! Weight on 1/1 was 168.4. Weight this morning was 165.6, for a loss of 2.8! Impressive considering I’m only doing the squat / push-up calendar & modified my eating slightly. I need to get moving, physically, mentally & writing
Started a blog at WordPress but haven’t found the time to write (mercee75)…kinda like I can’t “find” the time to work out! Zumba is starting at the high school tonight, I’ve never tried it but I need to give it a go! Hope everyone stayed warm these past few days!

I or someone in my home has been sick since the new year so the workout part of this challenge has been a bust for me thus far but I’m excited to get rolling. I’ve cleaned up the diets of everyone here, no grain for me for the last week and that is making a difference. So much to tackle at once.

Woot! Woot! I lost this week! Down 4.4 pounds! I know the first week is typical, but it sure feels good! I am doing really good with the eating part. I have gotten rid of almost all of the trigger food in my house. The exercise part has been a struggle. I had to put my C25K program on hold. We have had ridiculously cold weather, like everything is closed cold. Our treadmill needed to be fixed, so that wasn’t an option. I have been doing a workout challenge with some friends so I have been doing something. Plus squats and push-ups. My thighs hurt!! But it all feels great!!!

I started at 277.8 pounds and no exercise what so ever. I have been exercising everyday since the first. Been scolded three time by MFP for not eating enough. That should change today though. And when I got on the scale this morning it said 272 lbs. I need to add more snacks to my day and tons more water. Those are my two lil goals for the week.

I stayed the same this week, which is ok. Definitely have some things to continue working on, didn’t stay as strict with my ww points as I should have. Looking forward to this week!

I haven’t had too much time to blog either or I completely forget. I am going to start the boot camp today unfortunately it had slipped my mind.

Lost 2.4 lbs, 1.11% body weight. I’m happy with this. We’ve had an emotional last few days (lost our 11 yr old dog), but I’m still watching what I eat and trying to get the moves in.

Week 1 check in. A little frustrated at this point with the weather. It is cold here and the kiddos have yet to be back to school from Christmas break. We are on day 3 this week of snow days, which means unless my husband also is off work, I cannot go to the gym as there is no place for the older kids to go. I made it to the gym yesterday. Today I am having to work with doing Wii fit with my kiddos and trying to fit in some yoga later when the little one naps. I am down almost 4 pounds, but I think some of that is just early loss from shocking my body, we will see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

1st week done! I lost 4,5 cm off of my waist. And bought a scale. Never seeing 160.00 on it again (but really, I’m walking on sunshine, because I was convinced I was 185!)

Week 1 – stayed the same :(, oh well. I have been doing the squat/push up challenge and walking on the treadmill. Since I live in the currently frozen midwest can’t get outside to do any walking. I am going to a Zumba class tonight and looking forward to it. Maybe the scale will play in my favor next week.

Gah! Stayed the same this week which is frustrating. But the 2 weeks before I had lost almost 3 lbs so just have to keep with it. Today I did boot camp W1D2…which of course is the same as day 1. Still just as sore but I keep at it. And oh my gosh, my WW meeting today was packed! It’s nice to see so many new people to encourage each other!

Down 6 pounds since January 1st! Raise the roof! Just sticking to following Weight Watchers online and mixing up the weight loss boot camp with intervals on treadmill and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred video every day. I hope everyone is still feeling motivated! I know I am, best of luck to everyone!

Hey all! I cut the soda, and most of the junk food (the work vending machine is a seductive temptress). I am having to start over on the squat challenge because I’m a spaz and kept forgetting, but I’ve taken precautions, and will overlap a week in February. I weighed in last week at 191.2 and this week I’m at 187.8For a total lost of 3.4 with all considering! I will be working harder and I’m going to start the couch to 5k challenge on Sunday when it starts. I can’t wait to get my fat ass off the couch!!
