The Sturdy Girl Miami Sports Bra is a beautiful, solidly constructed bra. It is most definitely sturdy and kept my *girls* in place. I was a little weary that the bra would be uncomfortable during my workout because it was such a workout to get ON but I was wrong. The bra comes with explicit instructions on how to put it on- I followed it to a *T* and voila- got it on. Once I wiggled myself into the bra, I knew there was no way in heck my breasts would move one ounce during my run and I was right.  Plus, the bra was comfortable- SCORE! The bra had great wicking and support. I did find getting the bra OFF a bit of a challenge- I am still learning to master the reverse wiggle out of the bra. I very much like this bra and have to agree with Runner’s World awarding Sturdy Girl all kinds of awards for their bras.  I pretty much wash and wear this one over and over.

I really liked the style – it is unlike any of the other sports bras I own (probably because I buy mine at discount stores like TJMax and Old Navy) – it’s fun and funky. I also really love the purple color (so superficial, but it’s very fun). I’ve never had a sports bra that hooks like a real bra, and with three hooks, I felt very strapped in. I’m used to putting my bras on the tightest hook, which is what I did with this bra and then proceeded to go on a 7-mile run. Right away I could tell that the bra was too tight, but did not have the chance to loosen it. Next time I will use the middle hooks instead. The bra was extremely supportive and didn’t rub or chafe. Over all, I am very impressed. It might make me rethink my super cheap sports bra purchases in the future.

There’s really nothing I disliked about it!

Ann’s Preferred Fitness Activities: Distance walking

What Ann Liked/Loved about the Bra: I liked that the bra held “the girls” secure on my 10 mile walk, and the wicking material worked well, as the girls didn’t sweat even though the rest of me was sweaty. I LOVED the color! 😉  Also, the band was VERY tight, so I would suggest a bit bigger than normal sizing on band size.

Mary’s Bra Size: 4
Mary’s Preferred Fitness Activities: Running, walking, HIIT, kickboxing

What Mary Liked/Loved about the Bra: I loved this bra because it is specifically made for well-endowed women. The support provided by this bra is nothing short of amazing. The girls do not move! At all! No budging during a run and during a kickboxing session. The wide shoulder straps stay in place and don’t slip at all. Basically, once you put on this bra, you are good to go – you never have to fuss with it or “re-adjust” the girls or the shoulder straps. It fit snug to the body in a soothing, comforting way.

Any Dislikes:   I wasn’t a fan of the front-closure and the number of hooks you need to buckle up into this bra, but the support and the way the bra holds the girls in place is an easy trade off. I also didn’t like that the front seem shows through clothing. Generally, I try to wear loose fitting tops when I work out so this is not a problem.

For any of my fellow Shrinkers who, like me, were “blessed” with a bit more on top, this bra is a must!

Reviewer: Nancy
Nancy’s Bra Size: 40D
Nancy’s Preferred Fitness Activities: Walking, cardio circuit and yoga

What Nancy Liked/Loved about the Bra:  I have never had a sports bra before that had underwires or clasp back. I was worried about the comfort, but I didn’t have to worry about that. It was still comfy and held the girls in place quite well.
Any Dislikes:  Surprisingly, I had none. I was worried at the start about the underwires, but they were fine. No poking at all.
