Make Yourself Proud | The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans LLC

I think we should take the quote Make Yourself Proud from Peter W. Smith to heart. It’s the last week of 2014 and I have heard a lot of people complaining about things they have done wrong this year, including inside my own head, but I think we should be proud of our accomplishments, no matter their size. Have you learned anything new this year? Maybe you went back to school or got a new job? Have you helped someone else do something? Have you succeeded in one thing you’ve tried? Have you lost one pound from last year? Have you tried new workouts? Have you run or walked a race? Have you participated in our Facebook group? Have you signed up for one of our many challenges? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions then you have something to be proud of. Even if you haven’t answered yes to any of these questions, then I’m sure there is SOMETHING you can be proud of in your life this year. Sometimes it takes digging deep to find something that will make yourself proud, but I’m sure there is something deep in the recesses of your mind!

I scoured the web over the past few days and found lots of motivation to help me us move forward for the upcoming year. I also found reminders of things to look at our accomplishments in a more positive light.

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

“Have patience with all things, but, first of all with yourself.”

“If you can dream it, you can achieve it.”

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity”

“You can only lose what you cling to.”

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”

In the last remaining days of 2014, look back at what you have accomplished; not to dwell on the past, but to look at all the things you have done that you want to make even better in the upcoming new year. 2015 will be what we make it, so we should make the most of it and in the process make yourself proud!

***If you are looking for a wonderful new challenge to start off 2015, I would encourage you to join our newest challenge that will start NEXT MONDAY!! I’m sure it will be a wonderful way to start your year off on a positive note!!

xoxoxo,

Ann
