Wednesday Check-In!

It’s check-in day at the Sisterhood -the day we take a closer look at how we did this past week! If you haven’t already, step on the scale and see if you had a loss this week. Get your tape measure out and take some new measurements. And if you want, take another photo of yourself, to see if you notice any changes.

Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for the small accomplishments too! Those are just as important as a weight-loss! Because it let’s you know that you are going in the right direction!

As for me, I logged over 10 miles {walking} last week! I don’t have a loss to speak of yet, but I noticed that every time I went out, I walked longer and a little faster. I also got in at least 64oz or more of water in every day and was snacking better and less. I did notice that I had some heel pain after walking the first couple of times. I made sure to stretch really well before and after, using these tips from Christy for Plantar Fasciitis (I don’t have it, but the stretches worked really great for my heel). My week was all small accomplishments, but definitely worth celebrating!

We had some great posts on the site this past week! One that really struck a chord with me and got me a little teary-eyed was  Would You Walk Through the Beautiful Door?. It’s a must-read. “Why not choose to feel beautiful today? To BE beautiful, today? Okay?” I choose both today! You do the same!
