Ditch that Halloween candy and get ready to celebrate the next holiday – Planksgiving! Sure, we totally made that up, but with Thanksgiving right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to switch things up a bit! Because we’re all about those planks, ’bout those planks, no jiggle. For the entire month of November, you {and I!} will be planking and thanking your way to a better YOU! Each day, we will plank and give thanks to someone or something in our lives!

Print out the plank calendar and ready to plank your way to a more toned body! The 30-Day Plank calendar will get progressively harder as we go through November. Rest days are provided every five days to give you a chance to let your muscles recuperate. As with all of our monthly workout calendars, these daily exercises are intended to supplement your current fitness routine, not replace it.

Stay aware of your form at all times! It’s quality, not quantity that counts. If you find the daily total too difficult to achieve, just plank as long as you can, or break it up into smaller sets. Think the challenge is too easy? See below. This workout is for YOU. Challenge yourself, but not to the point of injury.

While you are planking your heart out, we want you to focus on what you are thankful for! Follow each planking session by a nice stretch in child’s pose, and make sure you head to The Sisterhood FB page to shout out your thanks!

If you find the daily workout too easy, complete your first plank interval and then add in another interval or two of the following plank variations:

  • Reverse Plank
  • Plank w/Hip Dips
  • Side Plank
  • Up-Up-Down-Down Plank

All variations can be seen in the demonstration above. Remember to keep your core tight for the duration of each exercise to prevent back injury!
