We’re well into April and very close to May which means my very busy schedule gets even busier with end-of-year programs, recitals and performances. Throw in end-of year-parties, the normal slew of birthday parties, Mother’s Day and the fact I still have to work, exercise and run a household, it’s no surprise why I am currently obsessed with wishing I was on a beach somewhere, with the wind whipping through my hair, the ocean waves calming my spirit, and with an adult fruity beverage in my hand…while lying in a hammock.
Sitting on a sand bar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea would do my soul wonders.
Doesn’t this sound heavenly?
Because this is heavily on my mind, I share with you my latest Music Playlist, aptly named “Island Time”, because that is where I want to be right now – on a island. These songs won’t necessarily pump you up to workout (or maybe it will). Some might remind you of vacations past, some may trigger a memory from a vacation (or somewhere else), but hopefully some of these will calm your soul, or remind you of the sun and sand or maybe of dancing the hours away while on vacation.
