I’m a quick and easy kind of girl. No, not like that! Get you minds out of the gutter. This is not that kind of site!! So, I really love canned soup. But I’m a bit of a soup snob. I cannot stand the condensed soups you have to add water to. Sorry, that’s just gross.

Everytime I hit the grocery store, I spend lots of time on the soup aisle checking out all the different offerings. It’s crazy that one side of an entire aisle is soup. Thick and Hearty soups, light soups, gourmet soups in some weird paper-like containers, microwavable cup-of-soups, ramen noodle soup, consomme, etc, etc, etc. I’ve pretty much tried them all.

Cambpell’s Soup has a somewhat new product out called Select Harvest. The great thing about Select Harvest is in the ingredients. More specifically, what’s not in the ingredients. It’s all real stuff. No crap, no stuff you can’t pronounce, no MSG, no artificial anything. It’s also much lower in sodium than your typical canned soup.

What’s even better is Campbell’s Select Harvest also has a light line of soups. Each Light soup has 50-80 calories per serving, with 2 servings in each can. In Weight Watchers terms, you can eat the whole can of soup for 3 points or less! My favorite, Vegetable Beef Barley is actually 2.5 points for the whole can.

So next time you’re on the soup aisle, pick up one of the six varieties of Select Harvest Light soups from Campbell’s. Mmmm-mmmm good. Promise!
