I would like you, my darling 5 yr old, to STOP talking to me while I exercise.

Today was Day 18 of SHREDDING.

I have to be honest with you that today, TODAY, I had a hard time motivating myself to actually don my exercise clothes and well, exercise.  I procrastinated as best as I could, coming up with all kinds of things to do in place of shredding.

I just did not want to do it today. 

Not because my muscles are sore- they are.

Not because I am tired- I am.

Not because I am buff already- I am NOT.

JUST BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO DO IT.

But I did it.  And it wasn’t so bad once I got started.  And luckily, the damn thing is over before you know it and I can say- I did ONE more day of shredding.  

It is hard to stay motivated and committed to something every. single. day.

BUT, I ignored my inner demons because I knew, that once I was finished, I would be glad that I did it.

And I am.

Anyone else still shredding?  I hope so.  How’s it going for you? 

Even if you have fallen off the bandwagon, that’s OK.  Start anew and get shredding.  It really does make a difference.  No matter how much you want to quit or not even start, JUST DO IT. 

Don’t make me go all Jillian on your A$$.  Cuz I will.

That’s how important exercise is to a healthy lifestyle.  That’s how much I support you guys on your own journey.

Now go do it already.
