June 15th already…. this seriously has to be one of the fastest years of my life.  I’ve been gone for a month on this site and I’m glad to see that I still havent’ been deleted !  The site looks great, btw, ladies – nice work !!!

I actually took some time off work, so I plan to post quite often over the next week or so.   We are going on a family road trip to visit Beth’s sisters, so that will be an awesome time.   It will be the first time in a very long time that I have disconnected from work, so I should have plenty of free time to eat, I mean, post.

Speaking of work – wonderful, wonderful, work, the work that was going to pay for my MBA.  So I studied like crazy and took the GMAT… poured over the application for The Kellogg School of Management for literally two months.. I get accepted into the school and attend an amazing orientation session where I get to meet my future classmates. I register for classes and submit the info to my boss so that I’m OK’d for the reimbursement.  I then find out that the Firm changed their reimbursement policy. Not only that, but they decided not to tell anyone unless they asked about it, so there was really no way of me knowing it had been changed.  They changed it such that it is going to cost me $60,000 more to get my MBA. I know that I should be grateful just to have a job in these tough times and that they are helping to pay for it all, but this a really hard pill to swallow.  So I had to drop my classes because I can’t afford it.   I’m going to try to find a new job that won’t mind shelling out for my MBA, hopefully, by this fall.  Now what does this have to do with weight-loss ? Honestly.. not a whole lot..but I dont have another blog, so i’m complaining here.   I definintely had the urge to eat myself into obilivion though, but luckily we didn’t have much food in the house .

Over the next week or so, I won’t be getting my  normal 20 minutes of exercise, so I’m going to have to find something.  I was reading on this site about jumping rope.  I used to jump rope in college alot, it was a favorite pasttime of the football conditioning coach.  I still have a really nice rope somewhere,  it has ball bearings in the handles so that the rope spins very easily, which makes life much simplier when you are jumping for a long time.

But yea.. in the last month since I posted… haven’t really lost or gained any weight.  I’m actually a little worried that the scale is just stuck at 297.  But considering the amount of crap I’ve been eating and drinking lately, I’ll take it.

I think I need to drink some water now.. maybe next time I’ll post about how all four tires got stolen off my car at the train station…
