This has been a tough week….
Last week my 1/2 marathon training consisted of 8 miles on Monday,
then I was plagued with pain and injuries.
I went to muscle work class on Wednesday and played racquetball with my hubby.
Saturday, two girls from my team and I worked the bar at the Evil Olive to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Sunday, I did an insane 12-miler. Read about it here.
Yesterday, I did a few miles with pain.
This morning I wanted to go to muscle work class, but didn’t.
I have been really struggling the last few weeks with my stepson.
It is SO, SO hard.
Harder than anything.
It’s mentally exhausting for everyone.
I got up, got the kids ready and out the door, and crawled back in bed, defeated.
Enough of my mini-therapy session.
I am down 2.4 lbs this week. I also ate pizza and candy and drank beer.
For the next 21 Days:
*I want to figure out how to move past the current situation I am in, no matter what that may be.
*I want to attend muscle work class on Mondays and Wednesdays.
*Focus on getting through my training run/walks without injury. And picking up my pace. I’ll never get through my 1/2 in under three hours at this rate!
