Back in the day, I was a hard-core Weight Watchers follower. I counted my points diligently and learned all about portion control and calories and making choices. I lost 25 lbs after the birth of my first child and I credit Weight Watchers (and my dedication and discipline) for helping me reach that goal.
During that time (this would be the Fall of 2004), I went looking for something that I could tote with me to work for lunch. I got so bored with eating sandwiches and wanted to mix it up a bit.
I found the Smart Ones line by Weight Watchers in the frozen section of my local grocery store. I decided to give them a try and have not looked back since.
I love the convenience, the multitude of choices, and being able to see the WW points value in clear sight on the packages. And get this- the food actually taste GOOD. I have yet to run into a WW frozen entree that I did not like…..that means, I have enjoyed them all.
Even better, you do NOT have to be following the WW plan in order to eat the WW food. Really. I KNOW. With the WW seal of approval, you can bet that what you are eating is low calorie, low fat and good for you. Nutritional information and points value are included on all packaging.
My favorites include Fettucine Alfredo and Spicy Szechuan Style Vegetable & Chicken.
