I was warned I’d gain after the race (thanks for the heads up, Christie O.). Though I’m not sure if it was from the race or all the ugly eating that ensued afterwards. But, I was SO HUNGRY. And not just the day of the race. For a few days after, too. I’m calling it ‘recovery’. Recovery includes lots of booze, Mexican food and even In-n-Out Burger.
The result is that I’m up 2.4 pounds. I don’t feel heavier, and in fact, my clothes are looser, so I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m thinking that getting back into clean eating and cross training will help shake this gain.
Still six weeks left on this challenge, and I’m ready to start shrinking again!
