Pinch me. – The Shrinking Jeans of Melissa

This weekend, I began Phase 2 of my South Beach Diet plan. Basically, I can add in a fruit and whole-grain bread serving each day, then will gradually work up. I had an apple on Saturday and it was DELICIOUS! Since then, I’ve been adding dried apricots in for a snack (along with a string cheese for protein!). I also had some chocolate and adult beverages, my confessions are here if you dare. And pizza with whole wheat crust. The bread seemed to be a trigger for my cravings, so I haven’t been adding that in every day, and am doing awesome!

My fitness accomplishments for the week:

  • Wednesday: Muscle work class, 55 min
  • Thursday-Sunday: Nada.
  • Monday: Muscle work class, 55 min. Racquetball, 50 min.
  • Tuesday: Cardio Circuit class, 55 min. Racquetball, 25 min.
  • Total: 230 minutes. Not the best, but I am grateful I got that many minutes in with how busy I was!

My weigh-in this week:  206.6 lbs. Down 3.2!

Down for challenge: 8.4 lbs! This is MAJOR for me!!

Down since starting Shrinking Jeans in November of ’08: 22.6 lbs!

I am going to the doctor in the morning to get my blood checked and ease my mind about all this bruising I have happening right now, I’ll let you know what I find out!
