Geez, you guys are checking up on me a lot lately. Sure seems like I have the Tuesday Confessional every week. Too bad, this week I may be getting caught with my hand in the cookie jar puppy chow. Frickin’ puppy chow. At least I made it with natural peanut butter and 1/3 of the powdered sugar, right? Hah.
So, yes. I caved. I ate the puppy chow.
Beyond that, I have been doing well with sticking with the South Beach diet plan. It is such a good fit for me and really helps me focus on staying away from foods that trigger my cravings. I am actually enjoying vegetables. GASP.
My exercise this week has sucked. I did a two-a-day on Tuesday of last week and ended up injuring my quad and had to take it easy. I have also been having bad back pain again (herniated disks haunt me), so I went in and got another epidural steroid injection on Wednesday. Good news: It helped the side I was having problems with. Bad news: Now the other side hurts.
I peeked at the scale this morning and I am just 1.7 lbs away from my Christmas goal. 1.7 lbs. OMG. SQUEEEEEE!!! Deep breaths. I can do this.
