Yes, it’s Saturday, so I won’t keep you here too long. I know you’ve all got plans. Running? Catching a Zumba class? Chilling with a good book? Running around from event to event like a chicken with your head cut off?
Me? I’m marathon cleaning. This has everything to do with nesting and nothing to do with me actually being an organized person.

Are you back? Okay. Now seriously, I absolutely love this challenge and am gutted that I can’t actually full on participate, being in my third trimester and all. But rest assured. I will be here, rooting for all of you from the sidelines (and also a wee bit jealous that you all are getting all toned up for swimsuit weather…).
Spring in 2 Action is our first buddy challenge. We have had team challenges, but never a one one one, where you are accountable to just one person other than yourself. Talk about motivation!
I also realize that getting to a gym is tough for many of you, and that the weather where you live is -ahem- less than warm (we’re hanging out around freezing in Northwest Washington…that is, when it’s not raining). Or you have a schedule that makes a conventional workout difficult.
Today I’m giving away a PAIR of workout dvds – one for your and one for your buddy. I’ve chosen Jillian Michaels: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism for a few reasons.
- I love Jillian Michaels. If you’ve ever done one of her workouts before, you know you’re feeling it the next day. And you get results (if you’re consistent).
- This workout is a reasonable length, about 40 minutes, which is a time bargain! You can TOTALLY fit in 40 minutes, right?
- Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism requires no equipment. Honestly? It’s nice not to have to drag out a bajillion pieces of gear each time you work out, am I right?
- You can work this workout as hard or as light as you want. It’s adjustable to your fitness level.
