Weekly Check-in – The Shrinking Jeans of Christy

I may have lost my Way in May, but WOW have I ever found it in June. That’s me. Always a day (or 8) late and a dollar (or more) short. I am not complaining though!

On June 1st, I logged in Weight Watchers online (yeah, I’ve been paying for a subscription for the past year and not using it (and I know Brooke is gasping right now)) and started tracking the new PointsPlus. It wasn’t too bad, except all of a sudden my morning coffee creamer is costing me FOUR points. Used to not be that much, yo. But I am LOVING the all-you-can-eat fruits/veggies buffet. Seriously, I have exceeded my daily minimum for f/v the entire week, and I feel amazing.

While I did not religiously track every.single.day, I think 5 out of 8 days is pretty good, no? And the scales told me it was this morning!!!

Last week: 144
This week: 140.2

LOSS: 3.8#

WOOT.

No to keep up this momentum (not the big losses, just losses in general. I’m not crazy enough to believe I can lose almost 4 pounds every week!).

I think it helps that my husband is on a diet too, not that it’s a competition, but maybe it is and I feel the need to pull off some kind of loss each week. And we’re keeping each other in check on the weekends, which is the toughest time for me on a diet.

All I know is that I am going to see 130 this time. I will make it all the way there, and I will not give up. That has been my ultimate goal for 6 years, and dammit I will get there!
