Helllllllloooooo, Summer Challengers! How is everyone doing this week? Can you believe we are on the downhill side of this challenge already and quickly approaching the finish line? This summer has FLOWN by, well, at least it has for me.
Since it’s Wednesday, you know what that means. It’s time to weigh-in/check-in for the Burst Into Summer challenge. Be sure to fill out the check-in form below and leave a comment with either a link to your blog check-in post or just how you did this week if you aren’t a blogger.
As for me, I was down 3.6 pounds this week. Woo Hoo! I actually hit my goal for the challenge this week. Go me! How are you doing with your goals? Are you almost there? There’s still time to meet them if you aren’t quite there yet.
Last week’s mini challenge was to give up ice cream for the week. I confess that I did give in once early in the challenge. The main reason for that is because my 15 year old refrigerator gave up the ghost last week. As I was pulling out all the frozen food to transport it to a temporary home until I could buy a new fridge, I noticed there was one fudge bar left in the box and I decided to just eat it rather than having to move it twice. How did everyone else do? I know it’s been ridiculously hot in some parts of the country, so I’m sure this one was a HUGE mini challenge.
My challenge to everyone this week is to try something new! I’m challenging everyone to try at least one new fruit and one new vegetable this week. It’s so easy for us to get into ruts of eating the same foods all the time, so let’s shake it up this week! I can’t wait to hear next week what you all came up with to try.
