Things are not going at all as planned. I was supposed to be all SUCCESS! MOTIVATE! LOVE LIFE! this challenge, and I am just not any of those things. Good intentions, little follow-through. The thing is, weight loss and fitness are all in the follow-through.

Which leaves me with the scale creeping up and the jeans getting tighter.

So dumb.

The good news is that structure and routine are straight-ahead, and I know once I get my large ass to the gym “that one time”, the rest will follow.

I wrote over here about my plan to attempt the Couch-to-5K once again; I just hope I am not setting myself up for failure. I know a few friends who plan on doing it, too, so hopefully amongst us we can muster up enough motivation and encouragement to keep going.

I signed up for the 5K run on October 22nd, and I am planning on being a leaner, fiercer version of myself.
